I'm not sure if the "tropical" Florida climate really agrees with me. I have been sick since we got back from our trip on 4/28. At first, I thought with a cold/flu bug, so I got antibiodics and other meds. Two rounds of antibiodics and 3 doctor visits later and finally last week, after a chest X-ray and bloodwork, they figure out I have viral bronchitis. No meds can really help but rest and fluids, so I was off all of last week from work and missed most of the previous two weeks as well. Ugh.....

I'm only online from work (gotta save money for the Disney trips everywhere you can, right?), so I've been internet deprived for a while. I've really missed the boards and a lot of other things in the interim. I'm still not fully better - I've had larangytis for over 2 weeks (voice is really squeaky/scratchy)which is really great considering I'm a phone Customer Service Rep.

Anyhow, the only bit of really great news is that my dad, who I thought had a so-so vacation with his first experience with WDW, wants to go back! So, we're planning a February 2008 trip for my 39th birthday anniversary (I'm through adding numbers to my age ;) )and it will be my first stay on property since my dad wants to make this a hassle free trip and we'll be flying down instead of driving. So now I have more research to do since I've always ignored all of the discounts for WDW hotels and the free Disney dining plan, Magical Express pickup, etc.

Thanks for letting me ramble and I'll be slowly working my way through the boards to get up to date. :hippie:

Sorry you've been feeling sick! Glad to hear you're on the mend.

Congrats on converting your Dad to a Disney fan! When my DH told me he didn't want to go to WDW so often, I quickly came up with a plan B and asked my Dad to go with me. He went along the first time to be a good sport, but now he's a true fan and wants to go yearly. He freely admits he goes just for the food, and he gets really into the planning of all the restaurants - for everything else he does whatever I want! The perfect travel partner!

Glad your on the mend, continue getting better, we missed you on the boards, and boy you got lots to catch up on girl!!!! We have been VERY ACTIVE here!!!! :lmao: So be prepared to laugh!!! Get lots of water to wet your throat! Also wet wipes for the screen!!!! :rotfl2:

I hope you're feeling 100% soon! Congrats on the upcoming trip.
FYI there is a rumor on the DDP forum that gratuity will no longer be included in the Dining Plan and of Jan 08 so make sure you double check to see if it's true.
I haven't been over there in a few weeks to see if it was ever proven.
