...that you type in two destinations on the Disney transportation and it gives you the recommended route! I thought I saw this somewhere (like a hopstop.com for Disney:rotfl2:) Does such a type of website exist or did I imagine it!?!?!

Thanks

That is exactly what I was looking for! I knew it existed and it was bugging me that I couldn't find it!

Thanks so much!
You can use the tool as a guide, but be careful.

For example, I looked up Old Key West Resort to Contemporary Resort. The tool's first suggestion was to take a bus to Downtown Disney and then a bus from there to the Contemporary Resort -- and that approximate travel time would be 90 minutes.

The tool suggests an alternate plan too: taking a bus to the Magic Kingdom, and then taking a Monorail or walking from there to the Contemporary. That's a better plan -- if it's during hours that Magic Kingdom buses are operating. (Resorts tend to have more frequent Magic Kingdom bus service than Downtown Disney bus service.)

I had the same experience HH...I put in just about any resort, trying to get to BW..and it told me to go to DTD and transfer there. Sure, sometimes that'st going to be the only way, but not usually. Much easier to take a bus to a nearby park.

Really, the best way to get this info is to just ask here, on the boards. YOu can use some of those other links to get a 'general' idea, but to fine tune, just ask here.
Because routes and buses are so fluid, things can change. And while the easiest route may be written down, it is not always the quickest or most efficient.

very true thanks! =)

Ok So I am looking to get to our dinner ressie at Boma in AKL and we are staying in ASM

It seems to make sense just to go to AK from ASM and is Boma walking distance to there!?!?!

thanks so much! You guys are all so very helpful! I am ridiculously excited to be going on my first trip as a parent in NINE DAYS!:banana::banana::banana:

No, Boma is at AKL, not AK so no walking.. you could either a) take a cab direct to Jambo house at AKL, take a bus to either DHS or AK and then a bus to AKL. IMO those parks make the most sense.

OLP doesn't always have up to date or even correct info. Gives you an 'idea' but nothing I would put my trust in.

So...to get to Boma from ASM...take a bus to AK and then transfer to the AKL bus. Or, you can head to any park that is open and take their AKL bus. We usually recommend AK simply because it is closest to AKL.....and the AllStar resorts are very close to AK. If you take another park bus, you will have to head in the wrong direction and then return almost back to where you started from.
To leave AKL, after dinner, head to an open park, and then transfer to your resort bus. If no parks are open, you can take the DTD bus and transfer there, or just have a cab called and take that.
