Sorry- Another Weather Question!

I'm sorry if all of these weather questions are driving everybody mad (Ive read quite a few), but probably going back to WDW the last two weeks of august next year. Ive been the first two weeks of july and had the standard VERY hot weather (which I actually didnt mind) and the "afternoonly" thunder showers. Is this sort of weather to be expected typically around the last two weeks of August?- hope there isnt usually too much rain! (Although Ive read all of the fantastic advice on what to do when it rains- we usually ran for cover during the last trip as we didnt have ponchos )!!

It's pretty rainy. But, we're going back. At least when it rains in August, it's a warm rain. Unlike December rain.

In late August it was hot and it seemed like we had a late afternoon shower every day,which we started to appreciate it cooled things off and the crowds did thin some.This was pretty much the pattern for all 3 times we visited at this time of the year.

We went the last week in August for the past 2 years. Last year it was great, we only got the afternoon showers and they seemed to work around our plans, LOL! However, 2 years ago it was really rainy. Most days it rained for hours at a time. We ended up missing Fantasmic after we had done the package, and our 1 day at the Poly when we had planned to spend the afternoon swimming, the pool was closed due to a storm. A real let down for us.

Thanks so much for the replies- looking at the link and knowing how unpredictable the weather is having been twice, Ill just have to hope that it doesnt do anything too unusual- looks like theres actually less rain than in July. I know these are just statistics, but if it rains a lot Ill just have to ride Splash Mountain more often!
