Festival of Lion King is at 6pm.. Read it last 30 minutes.. Brings us to 6:30-6:35..

Will we have enough time to get to a BOMA ADR for 7:15 ??

I have been there, know my way.

I kinds want to plan this show at the end as its near the exit. We plan on spending most time in Asia/Dinoland and I am trying to avoid the back and forth across the park thing..

Or is the Festival place not so far out there??

I'm not sure you'll make it on time. Consider that you must get out of the auditorium, get out of the park, catch a team or walk to your car, exit the park and enter hotel gate, park your car, and walk to the restaurant. It seems tight and stressful depending on property traffic at that time. Can you reschedule for 7:45 or 8:00? Seems that would be a lot more comfortable.

I would try for an earlier FoLK show. Your plans are too tight, IMO. Takes time to exit the show, then walk to park exit. Takes time to wait for tram. To exit parking lot. To drive to AKL. Last time we visited AKL we had a resort parking pass but the guard had to check us off a dining reservation list. That took extra time. Then parking, entering AKL, etc.

Do you have a car or are you planning on using Disney transport? You would give yourself 45 minutes to wind your way from the very back of the park (the show is in Africa now) through the exiting crowds from the theater, through Africa, all the way up through the park across the lot to your car or waiting for the next buys to the resort.

Under the best of circumstances (meaning you are somehow first out of the theater and/or there isn';t a single human who gets in your way on the way out and the bus to AKL is waiting for you at the bus stop) you will be cutting it close.

It will be tight, but you could pull it off since AKL is so close. If you arrive 5 minutes late, you will still be able to have your ADR. You just don't want to be 30 minutes late, and I don't think that will happen. While you will be in a crowd to leave FOTLK, the park will not be too busy that late in the day.

I think you'll be ok. The way I figure: FoLK out at 6:30, figure 10 minutes to get out of that (6:40)...another 10 (if that) to front of park (6:50)...10 more to the car (7:00)...10 more to drive and park (7:10). Those should be worst case scenarios, assuming your entire party is reasonably mobile. (you could possibly have to walk to car rather than wait for a tram to leave)

Also, my experience with Boma is that they're ok if you show up a little late. Due to the wonderful Disney bus system taking forever to get us from WL to Boma, we were about 20 minutes late for an ADR and they had no problem with it.

If you could go to one FoLK earlier, you could relax a bit more, but I think your schedule would also work.

I went for the 5pm show.. less stress and someone was nice to mention the location has changed.They keep having the old maps with Camp Mickey, where it used to be??. This was right by the exit, so I planned this last... but now it's close to the rest of the park.. so not so much back and forth.
