I think we will get 4 different bands for our trip. I registered them all, picked fasspass passes. Now how do I complete the transaction? I will probably add picture magic maker later. I do not normally do online check in. Is there a button to click on. Done?

So my question is this: Are all the MB's we receive active?? We chose different colors for different dress options but what happens if only one set are - is? - active??

You can see which bands are active in your MDE profile. Each band has an identifier number on the inside surface, basically opposite the "Mickey."

Unless you or someone at Disney manually deactivated a given band or set of bands, they are all active simultaneously and can be used interchangeably during your current and future stays. The system was reportedly set up to allow a large number of active bands to be associated with each member's profile.

Understand that the band doesn't do anything other than emit a fixed numerical code. As long as that code is associated with your MDE profile, it works (glitches aside!)

You can use them for 2-3 years on future stays. My family is collecting one of each color per person for now. We assume Disney will stop sending out duplicates per person at some point.

Otherwise, we would probably recycle them. There's no personal identifier other than your first name (printed) on the bands.

Completing the transaction simply requires you to complete setting up everything in MDE: make sure you have both your trip and tickets linked to your MDE account, that all guests who are on the reservation are in your family and friends list, add whatever restaurant reservations and FP+'s you want, and customize your magic bands by designating colors and adding any ID you want to the bands. The next step after set up just occurs on its own: Disney sends you the magic bands about 4 weeks before your trip. Note, you can change restaurant reservations and FP+'s at any time even after getting the bands.

As for on-line check in, you cannot do it until 60 days before arrival. When that time comes, a link to click on for checking in on-line will appear on your DVC member site under your upcoming reservation on your first page after sign in. A similar link appears in your MDE so you can also start from there.

Right now used bands are selling for about $20 on eBay as you can use them to unlock some dragon related toys in Disney Infinity. Just make sure to deactivate yours if you sell it!
