Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom cards

Hi All,

I can see that you can get a new pack of cards each day that you enter the parks when playing sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, but it says that a "portal" must be opened before another pack can be obtained the next time you visit the park.
Does this mean that we can use the cards just once then get another pack of cards the next day or do we have to play it for a certain time/do a certain amount of tasks before I can obtain these?

You can use the cards just once.

You get a new pack at the beginning of your trip. You won't get any more cards until you play a portal. Play at least one portal that day (although there is debate as to which day you have to play - that day or the next day) get new cards the next day. Play through a whole cycle and get new cards too.

Thank you, I was worried I had to defeat at least one villain before picking another pack up. I can't wait to try this out now when we go

If you want to play the same game on a subsequent visit, then remember which magic band that game was tied to. Otherwise, you start over.

It sounds like you have a few people going with you (forgive me if I am incorrect?). Have everyone, even people not planning on playing, go through the orientation when you get there and pick up their own packs of cards. You should get plenty of cards from that to hold you over for the first day or two. There's also a Facebook group I found where people trade cards with each other, etc.
