Just searched today and am highly disappointed that we won't be able to do this scavenger hunt in MK next week on our trip. We loved it 2 years ago! And it was free! So Can we talk about your experiences with kids on other 'Scavenger Hunts' in MK/Epcot?
1. I know there's the paid 'Remy' one in Epcot for $9.99. Is there also the Kidcot??-- Is that still in effect? We haven't done that one but would be more likely to do that rather than Remy.
2. In MK, since Sorcerers is gone, has anyone done the 'A Pirate's Adventure'? It's also free (i think?), but I know nothing about how difficult it is to complete-- any reviews? We're not interested in the special 50th A-B-C-D hunt; that'll be over my kids' heads (9 and 5).

Kidcot is still around. If you want to get really technical, nothing is stopping you from just going and finding Remy for free. It's not really Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom level; it's a bunch of little Remy statues and you put a sticker on a paper chef hat. You get a little bowl for it, but if you don't particularly like the bowl...

(I'm really sad SotMK is gone, too. Never got around to doing it.)

We did, 'A Pirate's Adventure' with my DD when she was 9 and we had a great time! I think your kids will enjoy it.

There are hidden Pascals in the Tangled area at MK. It could be a good way to relax for a few minutes. Come for the bathroom break and stay to enjoy the scenery!

I did Kidcot not too long ago and most of the pavilions had a table, except for Germany and China.
UK had a table but no puzzle piece to scan through the Play Disney Parks app.
Germany was listed as closed. (tried on 2 days)
China had the puzzle piece, but no table with the card and sticker.
...and some of those puzzle pieces were a pain in the rear to get to scan, let me tell ya.

I wouldn't go out of my way again to do it, but it's a fun little plus activity to do while you're in the pavilion looking around and taking it all in.

On a related note, any idea when Ducktales is coming to World Showcase? It’s very frustrating that Agent P has been closed for so long!
I’m beginning to doubt Ducktales will happen especially considering the series finale aired seven months ago & that some of the shops the WSA game went through are still closed

For what it’s worth, the rumors sites are all reporting that the Ducktales World Showcase project is still on, notwithstanding the cancellation of the show. But you make a good point that they can’t operate it if some of the stores where the action occurs are still closed. Ugh.

all I want is a more recent update as the last “it’s still on” was back in March when the show ended & my hope was it would launch October 1st but it’s now the 17th and crickets

We LOVED all the interactive games at WDW. Was very sad to see Sorcerors/MK go away....we'd been collecting the cards for awhile, finally got the set! But Pirates Adventure is SO much fun too. I wasn't aware they'd brought it back, but it does look like in MDE it's back, rather limited hours though, so be aware of that. I think the interactive elements are great, although sometimes kids and I had trouble reading the maps....probably my being directionally challenged. There used to be 5 different maps to complete, but not sure if they're all back, or how it's working now, but it was fun.
We also LOVED the Agent P games at Epcot, so I very much hope they bring it back as Ducktales, or something. I dont' really care what theme it is, just as long as something fun/interactive comes back. We always do the festival scavenger hunts, and those are fun too, not interactive, but fun.
