Okay so I've thought long and hard about what I would like for a tattoo and I've decided I want to get Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey as a starting point, kinda like this:

I can kinda see where I would like to go with it in my head but not sure where to find the images... I think id like to incorporate fantasmic kinda like this to make it a little more bad a**:

I want the brooms in there somehow too and maybe some other characters but not sure, I wanna make it part of a whole sleeve so it dosent have to be all disney but maybe the dragon and water and clouds could wrap around...
If anyone has any ideas, pics, links, maybe ideas where I could find books or art that would be great! Thanks:wizard:
Here are some more images I found...

Someone on the Theme Parks Community Board has this tattoo. Head over there and take a look. Maybe it will spark some inspiration. The thread is "Disney Tattoos," I believe.

Can't really help, but the idea is cool. Maybe talk to the tattoo artist and show them the different ideas you had, and see what they can come up with? :confused3 Don't know if it is done that way IRL, or just on LA Ink!

The only thing I can point out is I'm not sure about the dragon and the brooms at the same time. I think the dragon and fire, billowing smoke clouds, and Mickey with his sparkling wand would be really nice, and kinda flow better. I like this dragon pic, but with the coloring of the other dragon. And this Mickey minus the sea life.

If you don't already have a tattoo artist you work with, take some time to find a really great one. Browse the websites for studios near you. Reputable artists should have a great portfolio of work for you to look at. After awhile, you should see an artist whose work "speaks" to you. I got this advice from a a manager of a tattoo shop, when I was thinking of getting some ink. I ended up finding a GREAT artist, who took the pictures I brought in and added to them (a la LA Ink/Miami Ink). I am sooo pleased with my tats, and am looking for just the right art to add again. It's like buying art for your house that you will never, ever be able to move. So you better be sure it's a really great artist!!!!

FWIW I think the Sorcerer Mickey sleeve idea is fabulous!

Do a Google search on "george reiger disney tattoo guy" and then contact him for advice.

His tats don't seem to have any rhyme or reason to them... just a hodge podge of characters. I think this would be much nicer if it is more unified.

Your best bet is to find a reputable tattoo artist and sit with him/her and show them what you have and let them come up with a couple of ideas. Like I always tell me artist, "you're the professional and this is why I'm paying you cuz you're the best now show me what you've got in mind!" He pretty much has full reign over the details of my tats. I'm not an artistic person at all so if he thinks something would look good, it's gonna look good. Haven't had any negative comments yet! Good luck with your decision, I really like what you've got in mind.

Oh cool! That tattoo thread is great, I did a search for disney tattoos before but didnt find it. Thanks... still browsing the whole thing maybe ill get some ideas.
