i met him a few years ago in MGM in his costume

We've seen him back in MGM's Mickey Avenue Character Greeting area near the Backlot Tour. In fact, we were the only ones in there with Sorcerer Mickey on our trip this past Dec. Pretty rare.

When we have been at MGM there was a spot where he had a meet and greet. We got a neat picture of the four of us with him. I think it was near the ABC Commissary and where they play the One Man's Dream film. It was inside. Sorry I can't be more specific. But I think he is frequently in that park due to Fantasmic! and the big Sorcerer hat that dominates that park. Good luck!

He is at MGM down by WWTBAM. It is an indoor area.

Definately at MGM! Mickey has his own little room there, called his "Sound Stage". It is pretty much between the Millionaire show and the entrance area to the Backlot Tour. It is well marked, and you can see Mickey inside from the sidewalk, so you will know you are in the right place. He is there for a good portion of the day, as he stops greeting in the late afternoon or so.
