I didn't get to see most of it!!! My daughter was still up watching Shark Boy and Lava Girl 9for the tenth time!!) and I didn't want to put it on the TV when she was still awake..no way do I want her watching! or even hearing any of that!! She fell asleep at 950 and I saw the last ten minutes
I thought Carmela with her showing off her new car was funny at the end when her friend said that her new Corvette was in her name, and made Carmela mad.
I also felt really bad for the guy who hung himself, that was a gruesome scene.
He was just one of the guys in the crew that hung out at the Bing. I remember him from last season -- no major character or anything.
Highlight below if you want to know why he hung himself:
At the beginning of the episode, he had inherited $2 million dollars and went to Tony to ask if he could retire. Tony said he'd think about it, and in the meantime this guy and his wife kept planning on buying a house in Florida and were dreaming about what they'd do. The guy had two kids, one of which was into drugs and they were looking forward to getting him out of that environment. Tony kept putting him off, and then at one point Christopher had him make a hit, telling him he'd put in a good word with Tony if he did it for him. It ended up, Silvio talked to him and told him no, that he was needed and couldn't retire. The guy tried to make the best of it, but his wife was really upset about it all. Oh, and one thing I almost forgot. It showed him in a car with two FBI agents, so apparently he'd been talking to them. He asked them to relocate him to Florida and they told him to forget it, because they needed him there. He just gave up. I felt so bad for him.
He canmeinto money and wanted to retire to Florida. Tony said no and then the Fed's leaned on him. I think he figured the only way his family could get to move to Florida was to kill himself. No retirement plan in the mafia.
