Sopranos Question?

On last Sunday's epidose Janice frets about losing her wedding ring Did I miss something?? Are you supposed to think that she and Bobby got married? Or did she wear a ring from a previous marriage. I'm confused

Yes, I don't understand that either. I was wondering the same thing regarding whether she and Bobby got married.

Who knows with her, though. She is such a whack job.

Also, when Paulie and Christopher were speeding away after murdering the waiter, Paulie had the same Cadillac that the Russian stole.

I am pretty sure Janice and Bobby got married. At one point, she also said "Hey, its my house." David Chase said that these episodes are being written as if life has gone on for the last 16 months so there is a time lag that we have to catch up on.

I thought that was Janice and Tony's mom's house - the one Tony basically let Janice have. I didn't think that was Bobby's house. Maybe I am wrong.

But I hope some explanation is coming...

I read in an article that Janice and Bobby did get married, or rather that she pressured him into marrying her.

And that Tony is staying at his mother's house. So maybe Jan and Bobby were over for dinner because that was definitely the mother's house.

I thought that was Bobbie's house and Janice moved in with him since she got married to him

My goodness they really need to clear some of this up. The first episode was so slow they really could have included some of that kind of stuff. I don't think that 16 months could have passed on the show. You think Tony and Carmela would have let things go on that long without "settling" things by either divorcing or something. I cannot see Tony living at him mother's old house for 1 months while Carmela lives in the big house. Besides wouldn't AJ be out of high school by then...

Here's what I think:

1) I think Janice/Parvatti (whatever her name is) was cooking for everyone in her mother's house which is now hers.

2) Wasn't the wedding ring she wore the one that Richie Aprille gave her? Everyone thinks he's in the witness protection program, but of course we know he's not. Maybe she has to wear that so not to raise suspicion about him for awhile?

I would think that if she and Bacala got married, it definitely would have made the story line.

DukeSTreetking - about Paulie's car, you're right! Good call on a blooper there. I'll bet we haven't heard the last of the Russian.

I dont think thats the old cadi....the old was one as Deville if I remember correctly- the one in last weeks episode was a Seveille SLS....2 different moddels...

And it wasnt the mothers house- it was bobbies..I have the box set of the other seasons, and its the same house as when bobby and janice just started when bobbys wife died...same kitchen etc.

The ring- wasn't stated it was a wedding ring...I believe she said "DIAMOND".....

I'll give you the Caddy, although I do believe it is the same one.

However, Janice definetly said "Wedding" ring. I have the box sets also, and I never remember Janice and Richie getting married. She blew him away before that.

I wondered about that comment, too. I can't believe they just glossed over it like that. They could have turned Janice into Bridezilla from Hell and it would have made for some great scenes.

I just remember now an engagement party at Tony's house....no wedding...

I am watching it again on VOD right now. Behind the couch where Tony is sitting is a picture of Janice and Bobby together. Also that is definately Bobby's house. Also Tony tells Janice to pipe down and she says no this is my house. And she does say my wedding ring.
Can't wait till Sunday night!!

OK So I can guess we can safely assume they are married. Maybe there will be some flashback episodes coming up where we get to see how all of that happened Will have to watch more closely from now on.
