Sophomore! Today was the first day of school, and every year the seniors haze the freshmen (not mean hazing, totally teacher approved, just a way to like welcome them to the school)- this year it was Hawaiian themed- they gave all the freshmen leis, there was a slip 'n' slide in the courtyard, beach balls everywhere, etc. etc. When I walked in a senior I didn't know asked my friends and I if we were freshmen and I was like "NOT ANYMORE!" I'm very happy.
Sorry as I'm kinda ruining the post, but I'm from England and we dont have all these sophmore/senior tags and I was just wondering if someone could explain what grade/age you get each of them.
In England, you get called a fresher first year of college/sixthform [last 2years of High School] and first year of university, and thats about it
I get really confused when people talk about them on TV and also on here

And you're a senior in your last year of high school (age 17-18ish) and last year of college (age 21-22ish)
