Sophmores in High School

Sophomore! :) Today was the first day of school, and every year the seniors haze the freshmen (not mean hazing, totally teacher approved, just a way to like welcome them to the school)- this year it was Hawaiian themed- they gave all the freshmen leis, there was a slip 'n' slide in the courtyard, beach balls everywhere, etc. etc. When I walked in a senior I didn't know asked my friends and I if we were freshmen and I was like "NOT ANYMORE!" I'm very happy.

I'm a sophomore....homeschooled so it wasnt a big deal anyway.

I'm a sophomore!!! :)

Being a freshman wasn't too scary at all; I was cute enough to get through it. ;) :flower3: Hahaha.

Ah I'm so happy to no longer be a Freshman Ah the joys of not being one of the "annoying" ones anymore lol

Hey everyone :thumbsup2

Sorry as I'm kinda ruining the post, but I'm from England and we dont have all these sophmore/senior tags and I was just wondering if someone could explain what grade/age you get each of them.

In England, you get called a fresher first year of college/sixthform [last 2years of High School] and first year of university, and thats about it :goodvibes

I get really confused when people talk about them on TV and also on here :rotfl2:

Freshman year for me was funn.

You are a freshman for your first year of high school (age 14-15ish) and first year of college (age 18-19ish)
You're a sophomore for your second year of high school and college.
Junior year is third year of high school and of college
And you're a senior in your last year of high school (age 17-18ish) and last year of college (age 21-22ish)

Hope that kinda clarifies things for you...
