My daughter and I are going on a 7-day cruise (Sunday-Sunday). That gives us the Saturday before to hit Disney Springs for the day and spend the disembarkment Sunday at the parks before we fly out on Monday. My question concerns disembarkment Sunday. We are going to be getting off the ship as early as possible and racing to Orlando to enjoy all the time we can in the parks (we're rope-drop to you're-gonna-have-to-kick-us-out-of-here-because-we're-closing-this-place-down/we'll-sleep-when-we're-dead kind of gals). We have reservations for the disembarkment Sunday night at Pop Century.... but of course we can't get in there first thing in the morning and we aren't going to want to stop the day to leave and check in.

Here come the questions: Can we claim (free) guest parking privleges at the TTC on Sunday morning? Can we take part in late extra magic hours if we won't officially hit Pop Century (even to simply drop off our stuff) before the end of the night? We WILL have our magic bands and our tickets and hotel reservation are already plugged into them.

Thanks... we LOVE Disney, but living about 8 states away, well you can imagine every second we have for being in the parks is precious (ESPECIALLY on a summery Sunday when ride lines will be a challenging reality).

1. & 2. If that is check-in day, you can park free at the parks and TTC.
Use ON-LINE CHECK-IN and list the check-in time as early that morning.
3. To be clear, your MBs won't have anything plugged into them.
Everything will be in your MDE account and your MBs can access what is in that account.
There is actually nothing "on" a MB but an electronic number.
(I know this is a fine point, but so many get confused about how they can
"load things onto" their MBs.)

I don't know about pop, but I think all the hotels allow online checkin. So that would mean yes. You check in and then get a notification when your room is ready- you can go straight to your room. No need to go to front desk at all.

If I'm reading you correctly, you disembark on Sunday and you have a reservation at Pop for Sunday night? Is that correct? If so, then you want to make your online check in for the earliest time you can for Sunday (7:00 a.m. even). This will allow you to park at the TTC without having to pay and will also give you access to the late EMH. As PP said, you should get a text or notification sometime during the day with your room number. When you leave MK after the EMH, you can go straight to your room and crash.

But my question is more... can I get free parking on property on Sunday morning when we go into the park for the full day/night when we will be checking in later that day...whether online or later at the desk?

So free parking starts when the room is actually available to enter? Therefore free parking wouldn't be available (probably at 8:30 or 9:00 am)?

No, free parking starts when you CHECK IN. Online. I checked in at 730 am, couldn't "enter" my room until 145 pm, and didn't actually do so until 7pm-ish.

You can park for free in the morning of your arrival date, assuming you've checked in (either online or at the front desk) for your resort stay starting that day. Your free parking continues until closing on your check out day.

Be sure to keep an eye on your email, text, and the app throughout the day in case there are any issues with your room, preferences, or payment that require attention. And call the front desk if you encounter any problems and can't get back to the resort.

I have an AP, so I can't tell you about parking.

But for Pandora opening day - it was our "check-in" day at All-Stars. We went straight to Animal Kingdom and got scanned in for EMH no problem, without even going to the hotel. Now - we couldn't do much after that, but it was because of park crowding more than anything else.

I'd used MagicBand charging before, so my Pin worked and everything. We didn't go to the hotel until about 5 p.m. that day.

Just make sure you "Check In" online - you can do that like 30 days in advance, so you're all good.

Do online checkin ahead of time. Yiu can do it 60 days out after all. Telling them when you'll be there helps them plan for when to have a room, and it also lets them know you'll be onsite. That allows you to park for free.

I personally would stop and check my bags at pop; I do not like having my bags in a car.

Ah! I get it! Thanks!
I have been staying off property the last few times, and I'm a bit out of the "resort guest" swing of things.
