Soooooo Unlucky!

Today sucked, I mean, probably one of the worst experiences of my life. We were playing baseball today, practicing for the Frat league to start. I threw the bp fastball and he hit the line drive straight back, right square in the shoulder. The sound, first a pop, followed by crack, followed by my scream of agony. We went the hospital and got an xray, the popping was the dislocation of the shoulder, but that didn't really matter because the crack was the shattering of the head of the humerus along with the sockey of the scapula. 8, yes EIGHT pieces. Rehab is gonna suck.

Ouch... I may not agree with you about going to class but I am truely sorry you got hurt. I have had a shoulder injury, not near as bad as yours and it is not fun. You never realize how much you use a shoulder until it hurts. Take care and do what the Doctors say to do.

Man I'm really sorry, my dad had to have surgery for a dislocated shoulder, not fun at all!!! I hope it feels better. P.S. what frat are you in?

I feel for you .Now I'm a little older but in good shape and cracked my shoulder ball playing paintball .It didn't really hurt but driving home I could not move my hand to the steering wheel.
Digging into rotator cuff.Well after 2 months of total immobilizion the theripy started and boy did she pull and stand on my arm just to get it to move.

Well, yesterday I finished my last surgery, now time to heal then comes the dreaded rehab.

Just making an update on this, i have limited mobility, i can lift small objects and my physical therapist is REALLY hot.

it was an accident, she said she was so sorry and didn't realize which shoulder i had messed up. this injury really sucks though, but hey, it should be getting as good as it will ever get soon, at least im left handed.
