:p Seriously, I'm overly obsessed! And since I've discoved the dis it's only become worse, lol!
Dh thinks I'm nuts. He was all for it when we did our big pow-wows when we first booked our trip and even when I changed my mind 2 or 3 or 10 times but now every time I (as casually as I can- not trying to look crazy here!) merely suggest changing an adr.
It makes no sense- I mean, its just food right? And its not that we never eat out, we do wayyy to much (4-5x a week). But I swear its all I think about!
I constantly go over the menues from allears and know what I will order from each one. I am dying to have dh pre-pick all of his food too but I can just imagine the look he would give me.
I blame the free ddp :teeth: and my usual Disney fever

Thanks for letting me get this of my chest! I am going to bed now to dream about Fiesta Margaritas and Chocolate covered Nana's and Dole Whips that I see/ hear about every day here on the dis. There is a word for you people- enablers! :disrocks:

Oh, can you help me out with my obsession of the day and tell me if you think there are to many buffets here, lolololol :goodvibes

9/18- Maya Grill (d)
9/19- Chef Mickeys (bf) Chefs de France (D)
9/20- Kona (BF) Crystal Palace (D)
9/21- Boma (BF) Le Cellier (D)
9/22- 50s Primetime (L)
9/23- Ohanas (D) Hopefully Beaches and Cream for lunch, they don't take ADRS...
9/24- Hoop de doo
9/25- Going home

I know what you mean I have change a couple of ressies 3 times now!! I cant fit in all the restaurants I want to try.

That's just how it is... I agonized over the menus and the ADR's and my family thought I was nuts... That is until they went through and ate all the food and went to the "special events" I wanted them to see... Now they all understand and patiently listen as I tell them what we're doing on our next trip...Even though I'll change my mind over and over until we get there...

I do think your ADR's are great though. I'd like to say to you that I wouldn't change a thing BUT I know that I probably would (like I said above) until I got there...

Well, I went through the same thing. And then one day, I just said to myself: "It's good enough". Since then I've just dropped it and let it be.

Try it! :thumbsup2

Hugs to the OP.....I hear ya, you want to make sure you get to see it all and go for the gusto...especially when you are coming from far away and not sure when you will get to come again..

The first few times I went to WDW, I was possessed. Had to do it all, had to see it all and had it eat all. ;) Now that I have been going for lots of years, we have slowed down a bit and try to see the new things and just eat where the day takes us. But of course this is after more than 25+ visits to WDW...

Well, something must be wrong with me. This is my 20th visit and I am still reviewing and re-reviewing my ADR list. I am at the point where I have just said, no more changes...but I still look at the list at least once a day wondering if it is how I really want it. So many great restaurants and not enough time! DH has banned me from discussing the subject with him, and I think even DS (11), might be getting a tad sick of hearing about it.

Last year was worse as it was our first time with the DDP and everything I had read said "maximize the plan". Talk about added stress...this year I am not worried about doing that. I learned my lesson.

I am CERTIFIABLY DISNEY NUTS  ...the good news is...only 33 more days to obsess! :Pinkbounc

If you enjoy buffets, you will never get bored with them. With so many choices, how could you possibly? :thumbsup2

I don't think so -- I wondered the same thing... we have 3 in 4 days:
1/10-Crystal Palace
1/11-Donalds Breakfast (hopefully); Brown Derby (d)
1/12-Cape May (d)
1/13-Plaza (l), 'Ohana (d)
1/14-Kona

Since we could just make our ADRs Friday my DH thinks I've totally lost my mind because I am obsessed with whether these are the "perfect" reservations, lol! You have lots of company here

:cool1: This our first trip and its not till April . My family is already rolling their eyes at me. A sign was placed on computer by DGS saying it's broken espescially to me! I can"t even make my adrs yet and I can't wait.!!!! I think I'm set with where it's just when that's driving me crazy. With schedules not out yet I don't know which days to do which parks and if I did what times . I have the menus almost memorized!!! This is definately an addiction!!!! :dance3: :rolleyes1 :yay:

I've been doing that, too. I finally gave up and said I was done. This is what we are eating and I'm not changing it again!!

8/27 Councourse dinner
8/28 Boma dinner
8/29 Akershus (sp?) Princess lunch
8/30 Open - probably the Maya Grill dinner
8/31 Chef Mickey dinner
9/1 O'Hana dinner
9/2 Coral Reef dinner
9/3 going home

I'm wondering if that's too many AYCTE and buffets, too. Either way, I am not calling dining again.

Oh, I agonize over our disney dining choices. Sleepless nights, stomach aches and inabilty to concentrate on anything else. :sad2: I think I may have an unhealthy relationship with food though. There are so many great places to eat in the world and it is hard to fit them all into your park touring schedules. We have old favorites and new places we want to try. I just try to mix it up each time .

We are heading back to the Crystal Palace  two times this trip- breakfast and a lunch. And we are trying some new ones like LTT and Cape May. I can't wait for the old faves and to try something new that might become an old fave. :goodvibes

Are you my long-lost twin? :teeth: I have been doing *exactly* the same things you are! Of course, my condition was twice as bad to start with because I was obsessing over airlines tickets too. DH finally said "just get them!". Which I did (and have been checking SW a ka-zillion times a day to see the fare's gone down!). And, coming to this website several times a day doesn't help...it's like giving booze to an alcoholic!!! :drinking:

*~ellagirlsmama~*, don't sweat it! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Your profile says you're from NYC, and it looks like you go to WDW once a year. So you're already from a city with great food and if there's anything that you miss on this trip, just hit it next time.

How's that for some perspective? :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Ok, every body back away from your computers. Slowly put down your schedules. Repeat after me. "I will not make anymore changes, I will not make anymore changes..." This should work for a little while anyway.
Good luck. I'm leaving in a month :woohoo: so it's getting a little tougher to change my adrs

What we have is OCDPD! Obsessive Compulsive Disney Planning Disorder. There is no cure!

I hear you. I am on this computer every day checking out the dining reviews. The laundry is piling up, weeds are in my garden, but I just can't help myself. LOL :surfweb: Every time I change one, I start obsessing about another one!
The problem is my DD boyfriend. He is just so picky - 19yr and only likes chicken and pasta. Oh, and desserts. Plus he is 6'4" and is a hockey player so he will need some food!! :rotfl: BUT I decided after my last change that enough is enough and that no restaurant will be that terrible. Of course, in the middle of the night I couldn't sleep so I got up and started checking out the CS meals....

I think the buffets are the best. Everyone can find something they like. You can fill up for the day. We did one a day. A late lunch or early dinner.
This gave us more park time.

Grab a bagel for breakfast
fill up and relax at a character meal buffet around lunch
something light in the evening (except when we do 'Ohana Wishes veiw!)

I make a big deal about where we are going to eat too!
My reasons are

We do not have hoppers so we have to plan...
what park
what day
what restaurant

Who wants to see what characters?
Im not going to try waiting in line in the parks to see characters. Especially when its crowded and hot!
Id rather be sitting in a/c relaxing having the characters come to us.

It is very agonizing!

Now we have added US and IoA...So I have to figure where to eat there too!

Im thinking Jimmy Buffetts Margaritaville and ???

My name is Laura and I have OCDPD. Im not ashamed it could be worse!!
