sooo..what to do when you get your first boyfriend?

Lol I had a very, not good experience with mine. It was only a few months ago, but we never really went anywheres. Just hung out a lot, things didn't work out, so I have no relationship expertise to speak of.

Although, going to each other houses was my favorite thing. Specifically his. We were left alone, which meant cuddling and wrestling and stuff. It was nice. I didn't like going out. It made time go by so much faster.

I want another boyfriend =/
But there's no one around!

And the whole thing on the dating your best friend.. he wasn't my best friend when he asked me out, but we were damn close friends. The dating only made us closer, and now even after our break up we spend most of our days at school together, and we text each other. Yeah, I'm not entirely over him, and yeah sometimes it's awkward, but I love him, and can't imagine my life without him.
Breaking things off in our friendship would hurt worse, because I'd still see him everyday, but I wouldn't even have him as a friend.

well...you guys have had more luck than me :[
i've never had a boyfriend.

well except for like 2nd grade...but that doesn't count.
haha

hahaha, my dad would kill me if i was driving other people.

okay, now is this his job to set it up or what..

Have him set it up. :)

My first true boyfriend was when I was 16. We dated for 2 years. We met in a kind of weird way. He was looking for a girl named Laura from his spanish class and searched xanga (the blog site) for one in our network thing. Well mine came up and he thought that was her so he got my screen name from it and instant messaged me and we had the same spanish teacher but he was in spanish II and I was in spanish I. Anyways, we talked a lot online and text messaged throughout the summer and I went and got him from work a couple times and hung out with him with my friend once. He liked me that whole time though. I went on a cruise at the beginning of July and texted him on the drive down to Florida and started to really like him. I talked to him online a ton while on the cruise and racked up a huge internet bill  and the day I got home I drove and picked him up from work and that was it...we were a couple. I was bad though and lied to my mom about going to see him until my friend decided to call and tell her.

So dramatic!

haha

ahaha yeh me too. i was kinda seeing this guy last year but i dont think that counts. its ok, i like being single for now :)

My first boyfriend was when I was 12.
I still count that as an actual "real" boyfriend, because we went out until we were, uh, 15 I think?

But there's no need to stress out about anything.
Just text him and ask him to hang out. If you feel more comfortable going for a group date first, do that. You can hang out with him the way you normally do. (Except now you're entitled to snuggle and kiss him :])

And just mention that you're hanging out with him to your dad.
You can either casually mention that you're dating, or wait for your dad to catch on. Either way, it doesn't have to be weird.

And congrats! :D

other then kindergarden never....

I'm pretty lame i guess.

BUT movies is always a good place. Followed with a visit to starbucks or something

Go to the movies. And then dinner someplace you both like (and is cheap).

My first (serious) boyfriend was 5th grade. We didn't really chat outside of school. But we always hung out together. When I got my second serious boyfriend in 9th grade, we hung out inschool, or our parents would drop us off wherever we were meeting and come back in, like, two hours or so. With Marion...we lasted about a month, so it never really came up. When I dated Alex, we went where we wanted...so long as my mom would pick us up! I still didn't have my license and he didn't have the money for driver's ed. We spent a lot of time at my house.

As for now...well...John and I aren't really dating. But he lives several states away. But, if we do ever date...I think my parents would approve of him. They've met him before and think he's a nice kid (so do I...).

And dangit. Now I miss him.

Anyway. I never told my parents about any of my boyfriends (they still don't know about Marion...). They just figured it out on their own. I mean, when you say "Hey, mom, can I get a ride home from the movies on friday? And oh, can you drive Alex home, too?" the picture kinda clicks.

Ahahah well...I guess I can share.
I'm feeling generous. lol

Take my advice, don't JUST go to the movies for your first date.

My very first date ever was basically a blind date (I'd met him once and he called my mom to ask her permission to take me out, but I didn't remember what he looked like at all.) and he took me to the movies. We didn't get a chance to talk at all, because..of the movie, ya know. Lol. It was really weird, just sitting next to him for 2 hours. Strange..

Anyway, it will probably be awkward between you 2 at first. Just talk a lot, find out all kinds of stuff about the other person. It will eventually get more relaxed.

And, congrats Devy! (:

i definitely am going to ask him if we can have a couple other people come, i just don't know if he'll be offended or anything =/

i'm trying to go with the flow but it's very annoying XD.
i'm a "i need plan ahead" kind of person

if by tomorrow he doesn't say anything about what we're doing on friday (i know it's awkward bringing up this kind of stuff for him because he's very shy) i'm going say "soooo whats the plan for friday"
will that annoy him or something? lol

i dont think it would annoy him, planning ahead is good

im more of a "spur of the moment" person
(which is bad for making weekend plans xD)

oh p.s.
i want to see this fellow ASAP!

you need to take pictures together :D

blah i hate taking pictures with people hahahha.
he's asian lol

I don't think it will annoy him. If he's shy it will probably relieve him actually.
