Sooo happy I own at DVC!!!

I'm not sure if this is an appropriate place to post, but I can't think of where else...

We just returned from a trip to Disneyland....and...it just cannot compare to WDW!! I am SOOO happy I bought at DVC, and I cannot wait to go home!!!!

Please, don't flame me, those of you that love DL...I am really happy people love it. But for me, it just reminds me of how much I love my Disney World!!!

We live in New Mexico and it costs quite a bit less to go to Disneyland for our family of four. We just bought into DVC this month. There is no commparrison between the two. We went to Disneyland a few years ago for New Years and stayed at the Grand Californian. It was a wonderful trip but WDW has so much more to offer including the weather.

We live in Arizona and can get to DL in a short day's drive, but after we visited WDW, we prefer to fly to Florida and get our Disney-fix there. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_2_116.gif' border=0></a> We would visit DL at least twice a year before that, but have not been back a while. Plus, we get more for our points at WDW compared to DL usage of points (which we have done and liked our stay at DLH).

Add us to the WDW lovers list

Since our DS's were 2 and 1 ( now 7 and 6) we have taken them to DL every year. Mainly because its the closest park for us Hawaiians They loved DL.....until we went to WDW in 2002. During our 2003 trip to DL again, our boys said " Is that it!"

DH & I always loved WDW...we honeymooned there in 1993.

Now our DSs also love WDW and now we have a 5 month old
to show the World and I can't wait!

Though the plane trip alone is 10 hours...we would take WDW over DL anyday

AZKathy...how funny, we're in AZ, too!!! I guess we're neighbors!!!

We end up going to DL at least once a year for business (I have a children's theatre, and our kids perform there). I am SO hoping we change that to WDW next year!! It is just not the same!!!

Being a native Californian, we go to DL about 3 or 4 times a year and enjoy it. However WDW is in a different league and cannot compare. We bought DVC after our first trip to WDW and were just blown away at how huge it is.

We will always love DL but WDW is just amazing. I wish I could live there year around. I guess that why we bought WLV, so we could have a home there with the western theme.

The only disagreement I have is about the weather. I think DL weather is better. FL is so hot and humid everytime we arrive at the airport I just freak out on the heat and humidity and start pancking. My mind start to think of how I can spend the most time indoors with AC and still enjoy the parks. I think... ok go out for 1hr then back indoors for 1hr then out for a ride then back to the pool then back to the park then back in for AC. I do adjust after a while but it is such a shock when you first arrive at the airport and step outside.

Being originally from SoCal, I grew up going to DL and absolutely love it. However, now that I live in the SE and finally experienced WDW I now know what I have been missing all these years! DL is fun, but WDW is truly MAGICAL!
