The one and only thing we really wanted to book for my girls is the Meet and Greets.

I tried at 12am on the dot to check in and book activities but I couldnt get in. I kept refreshing for 2 hours nonstop! finally I was able to check in and select our desired arrival port time.
What Im upset about is that I kept trying until 3am to book activities but the option wouldn't come up. Now at 7am Im able to get in but the meet and greets are no longer an option for me. UGHHHH!!!
Now what do I do to get these meet and greets for my girls?

I think this is answered on your other thread, but as you get to the terminal, read the embarkation navigator go to the location booking these as you go on, and you will get them.

Typically these are either at guest services or port adventures desks.

also, on the Magic in Europe, more times for meet/greet opened up a few weeks before sailing, so check back every once and a while til your cruise. If not luck, then you should be able to get tickets 1st day onboard.

For the first time on our upcoming cruise, we had problems checking in even a couple of weeks after it opened for us. (Like we could not even get into our reservations account). We spent a lot of time on the phone (and on hold) with dcl over a period of days and they eventually told us it was due to a communications merger that had nothing to do with dcl. Not that I didn't believe them, but I kind of didn't. It was weird. And my husband said regardless of what other companies are doing that is just bad IT on disney's part. But what really annoyed me was that disney was not really concerned about the fact that I could not get in to get a port arrival time. They were just like keep trying eventually it will work. Eventually, the last person I spoke with mentioned that if i had a phone, it would probably work on the phone... and it did. But it was a couple of weeks of frustration. So try it on your phone.

I would keep checking. We booked our Fantasy cruise less than 3 weeks before the sail date and I was able to book the frozen meet and greet, disney jr breakfast, and the excursions I wanted without issue. I even went back and completely changed some of the excursions I was doing without issue. It was a 7-night cruise, don't know if that makes a difference. It was our 1st disney cruise.

If you spent hours trying to book meet and greets, you may be sorely disappointed at the few minutes you actually get with the characters as a result. They also make appearances at the kids club and throughout the ship. On sea days there are also chances to meet. At the port, there may also be a chance.
There is so many other things to experience on board, i suggest not using up so much time and energy on meet and greets.

As far as I know the Frozen characters only do the scheduled Meet & Greets. I've not seen them just randomly around the ship.

Disney knows how many guests are on board and how many are young girls, who likely want to meet a princess. They also know a small percentage of adults only also want to meet the princesses. Just make sure you have enough M&Gs to accommodate all those little girls and a little more. This isn't rocket science and the staff are on the ship anyway!

Were you having computer problems? I've never had trouble with online check in. The vast majority of character meetings are not ticketed. You will have ample opportunities to meet the characters, get photos and autographs.

They really can't know exactly what the demand is. This system is still better than the way it was (had to stand in line right when you boarded the ship and hope they had tickets and that the time you were given worked for your schedule.) and is better than when you might get to a meet and greet even 30 minutes before it started just to be told the line had already been cut.

I agree, it's better to have a ticketed event than not. Maybe they should add a waitlist to get an idea of how many people didn't get tickets for an event. That way, they can set up a second event, if there's enough interest.

I haven't seen any other post with people not being able to get tickets 75 days out. Please keep checking (daily). I think it may just be a glitch and spots should open up. What cruise are you on? Good luck.

The Meet and Greats did sell out online on my recent 12 night cruise, and very fast, however there were many slots available on the ship on embarkation, with an additional Marvel meet.

Oh a waitlist would be a good idea. You're right then they would know if it was only like 1 or 2 families that missed out but wanted to or 20 or more which would justify the extra meet and greet.

There have been a few cruises recently that have had issues with the website when trying to check-in and book activities.

We didn't realise you could pre book your tickets online until it was too late! We did everything else at opening, including a good PAT. Weeks later I found out about the meet and greet tickets, logged on and nothing available :( I ke trying but no succes yet, so it will be a 'try onboard' for us :)

Well, it's a fairly recent addition to the pre-cruise bookings. It's only been available a couple of months.

I didn't know that. I knew there were tickets available, but not that they were pre-cruise, so that might explain it. Just had another check, but still nothing, but I will keep checking.

I've seen a couple different people post that they could not get tickets pre-cruise. I haven't heard anyone report back if they were then able to get them on board. It sounds like they are issuing tickets by person not by room now, so I wonder if that's part of the problem.

OP, have you tried just signing up the kids? Some people are having luck when they try to register smaller parties. I mean, if they are the only ones participating, why would you need tickets too? This wouldn't be like making a Palo reservation for 2 and showing up with 6.
