A very silly question, but ...

I've gotten completely caught-up in the "Soon to be Mrs. ..." hoodies, blingy little "Bride" tank tops ... so on and so forth. :cloud9:

For other DIS brides who have suffered from the same afflication, what did you do with all the blingy stuff after the wedding? It seems like it would feel kinda funny to wear that stuff after I become "Mrs.", but I think it would make me sad to get rid of it all.

Believe me, I realize this is totally trivial, but I'm just wondering what other girls have done ;)

TIA!

mine is being packed in a box as we speak and will soon arrive at my sisters house for her wedding next year!!!

Now that is an excellent solution! :dance3:

But since I don't have any sisters . . . :rotfl:

eBay, baby!!! OK, I didn't have any "soon to be Mrs." stuff, but I have two veils, our custom bride & groom mouse ears, and a ton of other wedding stuff we're about to unload on eBay. We could open a wedding store!

Instead of going the Soon To Be route, I chose to create my own. I bought a warm up jacket and had it embroidered to say "Ty's Princess Bride". Overall it was cheaper than the Soon To Be/Bride/Future Mrs. stuff, plus I still feel I can wear it. I will always be his princess bride. It will work well for future Disney trips.

The only thing that I got was a hoodie and mine said Bride on 12/7/07 so I can still wear it now if I could find it....:confused3

I really want to get in on this stuff! I just don't know what to buy. I take a regular XL and the stuff online all claim to run small. :confused3

Thanks PrincessBride07! That is such a great way to get all of the wedding excitement, but still have something you can use later & have nice memories! :goodvibes

LOL tlhbdm! :rotfl: You've got a really great idea by using just the date & Bride ... I hope you find your hoodie soon! Thanks for sharing!

I feel your pain Mermaid_Ariel! I've only bought a few items, and I would agree that they do tend to run small. I'm a size 8/10 (depending ;) ) and some of the XL's are a little bit snug. :sad2: I'm trying to convince myself that it should be motivation for me to eat right & go to the gym ... :scared:

I'm planning on just getting one thing. A hoodie that says "Mrs. my-new-last-name" and under it, our date. I'll wear it on deck on our Disney cruise and here in Michigan for wedding related stuff, but after that, it'll just be a keepsake. You could try ebay with non-personalized stuff.

That sounds like a great idea, Mocharilla! I really want something that I can have fun wearing while I'm running around "doing wedding stuff" and of course for our Disneymoon! ;) Thanks for the idea!
