Soon to be member--how soon will I get my membership #

We are brand new! Just got home, took the tour (not even expecting to do so this time, but you know how that magic works!) and bought 270 pts @ BCV.

Didn't think to ask our guide how soon I will be able to make reservations. The paperwork should arrive in 10 days, but then how long until we're official and can make ressies? Our 11 month window is coming up soon as we want to go again next April.

You should get temp membership cards with the paperwork that comes. Also you can get the membership number by calling member services and they can look it up, you should be in the system in a day or two after starting the process, at least by the time they send the papers.

so if you don't get the number by the time you 11month window comes up you can go ahead and call to make the reservation and have them look up the number then.

We put a deposit down over the phone. The next day our guide called us with our member #. Made my first reservation!!!

This was 2 weeks ago, we received the paperwork yesterday. We plan on returning our paperwork in person. 13 days to WDW!!!

I would call your guide, they probably have a member # for you. Then you can book as soon as you hit your 11 month window.
