Sony Wifi Transfer?

Is there anyway to do this? I went to download the App and it had 1 star reviews because the app no longer allows wifi transfers? So what's the point of having wifi on the cameras?

Hi...I'm aware you can only transfer pictures to you phones picture library via the Playmemories app. I use it with an A6300 and iPhone 6 and it works fine. First on the camera choose to Transfer photos the on your phone log onto the phones wifi like you would any wifi base station then open Playmemories app on the phone and you can transfer wirelessly.
