You've got two good threads here to visit - the Sony Alpha thread (
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1508616) has quite a few NEX users posting there, and the 'share your mirrorless' thread has a lot of NEX users too. The Sony Alpha thread would be the best one to ask questions for accessories, tips on the camera's use, etc. And if you want to browse away from this board, there are some camera forums which have dedicated NEX forums as well (such as dpreview.com)...but be wary, there are a lot of silly arguments and immaturity in those forums, so take anything you read with a grain of salt and put on your flame suit before you visit so you don't get easily offended!
I started out in the mirrorless cameras with the NEX3, and moved up early this year to the NEX-5N. I love them both. There are now 7 Sony lenses for the NEX line, with 4 more coming soon, plus another 3 lenses by Tamron and Sigma...so there are choices now for low light lenses and zooms. I could personally endorse the excellent 55-210mm lens as an inexpensive but good quality zoom lens with stabilization - I use it often for my bird and wildlife shooting. Or if you prefer the 'all in one' type lenses, there are 3 different 18-200mm lenses you can choose from.
