Does anyone know if Escape brides can still book this room as a reception. I know it was done in the past but not sure if we can still do so now.
And if so who do we contact to do this? Do we let our WP know?

How about the Narcoossee's do they do private rooms and if so who do I call.

We booked the Sonoma Room through our sales coordinator (the person who handles your contract before you get your planner). Our planner handled all of the details for us. Only DFTW, conventions, and FL residents can book the CG private rooms, so you will definitely have to go through DFTW. Depending on where you are in the process, contact your coordinator or planner and just let them know you want to book the room. You can call CG directly, but they will not allow you to book. They actually called our coordinator at DFTW who then contacted me! The number is 407.828.3200 in case you need it.

Narcoosee's is different as anyone can book and there is no private dining room. Narcoosee's has their own booking process. This number should put you through to whoever books at Narcoosee's: 407.824.1400.

We didn't book the Sonoma room, but we're having our reception there. It's not a private room, but this is our plan! We did this by booking our advanced reservations there 180 days in advance. Our big thing is that we want to be able to watch Wishes during dinner, so we want to be by the window. I talked to my coordinator about this and she called the California Grill and told them about us and requested that we be seated by the window. She said that when I get there on the wedding day, I should tell them the same thing when we check in at the restaurant that night. She said we would probably get the seats we want if we do that... AND if I'm still wearing my wedding dress, that would really make it clear we want a good seat.

I only have dinner menus, but there is a minimum before 5pm so it was my understanding that they do indeed serve brunch/lunch. We never considered anything but dinner. Remember the private rooms are different from the main dining room and work from their own catering menu. Check out mouseweddings.com for more information on menus.
