Okay, so I'm curious.

What are some songs that remind you of certain people or things?
And why?

Here are a few of mine.


White Houses by Vanessa Carlton reminds me of my summer at my friend's house. The lyrics totally explain it all.

Get Silly reminds me of my two friends. Because they always do a silly little dance to that song.

Hot n Cold by Katy Perry reminds me of one of the above mentioned friends. He is such a jerk sometimes.
That song also reminds me of my friend Amanda.

Someone's watching Over Me by Hilary Duff and Alittle Bit Longer by the Jonas Brothers remind me of the last month or so. Stupid people have made life hard, but it's over, and I'm glad.

- My mom, every time we drive to the airport for when I leave for Vegas, we sing along with this song.

Everytime we touch-Cascada always reminds me of my bf becuse i was singing it on the bus one day and since then everytime we hear it together it's kind of a moment thing...it's our song i guess.

Far away-Nickelback always reminds me of a bunch of dances in a row that they played this stupid song and i had to dance with this guy that really really liked me who i did NOT like at all...it completely ruined this song for me.

Anything from Wicked reminds me of summer two years ago in new hampshire.

Closing time-Semisonic for the same reason as ^^

Bikini Kill songs remind me of freshman year of high school. Especially White Boy.

Jim Guthrie songs remind me of Michael Cera now because he likes him and at the berkeley q&a they asked what his playlist would have and he said, "Jim Guthrie" and I was the only one that was like, "YAY!"

Dammit by Blink 182 reminds me of being 13 and rocking out to it when my cousin was really upset at her boyfriend.

I could go on forever. Every situation I've been in has influenced the music I love.

Anything (not a song, literally any of her songs haha) by Emilie Autumn, reminds me of the concerts and the happiness they brought me.

You're The Devil In Disguise by Elvis Presley reminds me of my two bffs, Jackie and Jessie. We were partying to this song in our resort room in WDW.

And then when I realized Colbie Caillait does some back vocals, I knew it sounded like one of her songs.

Hey Stephen by Taylor Swift reminds me of this guy. 'I can't help it if you look like an angel'
I love the chorus so much =)

Watermelon Crawl - Tracy Byrd reminds me of a time at my friends cottage.

Absolutely - Nine Days reminds me of PEI.

Jump - Van Halen reminds me of music class last year.

Colllide - Howie Day reminds me of another guy, because he told me once it was the firs song he ever did karaoke to... I just remember this everytime I hear it.

I always buy like 30 songs before I go anywhere on a trip and put them on a playlist and whenever I have my iPod on while I'm on vacation, I listen to that playlist. here's some examples of songs that remind me of places:

Plane by Jason Mraz - (actually the whole Mr. A-Z album) reminds me of Morocco because I left the day after it came out. I literally listened to this album the whole time I was there haha

Cyclone by Baby Bash - lol I just listened to this and it reminded me of going to my aunt's in Boca Raton FL

Always Love by Nada Surf - reminds me of Rio in Brasil!

I've liked him for about three-four years. He said he's not 'ready' to have a girlfriend. He said he can't make that kind of 'commitment' and he goes and flirts with my best friend. Everyone knows they are like, in love with eachother. It makes me so mad. And he knows like ten girls like him.

Let's just say, since yesterday, I've hated him.
And if he ever said sorry, I wouldn't believe him.
