I booked flights for four of us to fly to MCO from BOS in July last week. I reserved seats for us, and the email confirmation shows all seating assignments. But when I look at our itinerary on Song's web site, under 'seating' it says 'no assignment'. For anybody.

Anyone here ever have a similar experience? Do I need to call the airline?

We are flying Song/Delta too.

When you log into the Delta website, go to My itineraries & check-in-click "GO" & your ressie should pop up & you should see something that says "CHOOSE YOUR SEATS", click there & then you can type in what seats you want.

Hi Minnie,

That has happened to me several times on Song and Delta. I'd call Delta (easier to get a real person than Song) at 800-221-1212 and tell them what happened. They should be able to fix it while you're on the phone with them.

It's usually just a glitch in the website, or maybe they changed the flight arrival/departure time by a few minutes. You probably didn't lose your seats.

Good Luck!

We are flying Song in June. I check our itinereries every day since Delta/Song does tend to change/tweak things. And lo and behold, yesterday our seat assignments had changed to 'unassigned'!!! Our departure time had changed to 15 minutes earlier than originally listed. I called Song and the CSR told me that our seats were still assigned, that it was just a readjustment. And they were fine today, so that's probably what happened.

I did have Song completely change our flight once. The flight number changed and they tried to combine two flights...I never figured that one out since our flight was pretty full and the other flight was 2/3 full....so all our seats changed and I had to call to get them reassigned. But, it all worked out.

(If) A schedule change has occurred, often your seat assignments show up as unassigned again. You need to telephone and reconfirm your seat assignments which also "accepts" the schedule change.

Should you notice the schedule change to be dramatic, go on line, look to see if there are flights that suit you better, and when you call a little later ask for the new flights you want before (re-) requesting seat assignments.

You should not have to pay any change fee or any increase in fare. You may need to get a second opinion from a different customer service agent using a different telephone call if the first person you talk to disagrees with what I said.

I am also flying Song from Boston to Orlando but in November. After reading your post I checked my itinerary and my flight had been changed by minutes and my seats were "not assigned" as well. I called the 800 number and the representative could still see what seats I had chosen but fixed something and now the seat asssignments are back again. Go figure! I'll have to keep my eye on that.
Thanks for the headsup!

Mine has also changed a bit, I now get into Orlando 10 mins earlier!! My flight there says unassigned, but my still are still green(reserved), so I should be all set, but I will call and Confirm!!

Also bumping so that everyone flying Song knows to check their itineraries!!
