I just checked prices for January - 6th thru the 11th - r/t EWR to MCO was 245 on Song's own website, and 213 on Orbitz. I can't believe they offer higher prices when booking directly thru them!

Should I hold off and see if it drops, or should I lock in the 213 now?

A friend of mine who is a travel agent and another friend who actually works at MCO for Song say that booking through Expedia or Orbitz or Travelocity, while most of the time cheaper, can be problematic.

When there is a problem with tickets, etc, you have to try and deal with Orbitz and not the airline. They can't really help you since they didn't sell you the ticket. In addition, this may be more of a problem since Delta/Song is trying to stay out of Chapter 11.

Most folks use Orbitz and sites like it with no probs...I usually stick with going with booking directly with the airlines....just in case

Try booking that low fare and see what happens. all too often it comes back and says it is not available and this is your new fare at way more than you thought it would be.
