Hi all,

I have flights iwth song for april 2006. Have had about 4 changes in interneraries, I even changed airports in New York! Anyway, is anyone really concerned that come April the flights will change or be cancelled? If there is just one more change I will demand a refund, and take my money elsewhere. I can understand the airlines current situation will mean something will change but this is ridiculous!

I am not concerned at all. I do realize that some of my future flight will switch over to Delta and nothing I can do about that (I will be back where I started :sunny: ) My only concern is that I will no longer have a TV to watch, flying to MCO.
But to be serious, you have to be happy, with where you are spending your money and if you are not, then move on to another airline. The changes bother some people, some could care less(me)
When you are spending the money you work so hard for, spend where that airline works for you.

I have flights for December & Feburary and they have changed five times. Unless you are concerned that Delta/Song will no longer fly from NY to MCO, which is not going to happen, go with the flow. When it comes time to buy for December 06 I will buy tickets if the price is right knowing that Song will not be around. Any tickets you buy 11 months out is going to change a few times

Yeah, I wouldn't worry if I were holding tickets from NYC to MCO. Now, if I was holding tickets to/from a smaller city, that might get me a bit concerned, but only in proportion to the size of the city.

The only thing to consider is if your current seats are in rows 1-8 you may get bumped if those rows are converted to first class. The quick fix for this is to change your seats now to rows 9-26 which will not change.

I am in these early rows, how do you know they might change to first class? Is it possible that they will indded change by then, should I move?

Thanks
Libby

If the seating configuration changes, it is as likely as not that all seat assignments, in the entire aircraft, will be lost.

Delta's discontinuing the Song division, and speculation has it that they will convert these planes back to having a first-class and coach-class instead of having all one fare. That's why the seating configurations would change. I haven't heard a definite date but read that it would occur in the 'next few months'.
