Song Air just being nice?

I just had an unexpected pleasant experience with Song Air. I was set up on an 11:30 flight and asked to move to an 8:30 Delta flight -- no problem. Maybe my expectations are too low, but isn't the whole point of Song that it is a low-cost carrier, changes have a cost. Seems that changing to another division of the carrier should surely have been more difficult.

Hi Bicker,
Are you saying they did not charge you for the change?

BTW, the pictures are wonderful!!!! Congrats on the year anniversary.

I have found Song/Delta to be extremely easy to deal with regarding changes. They have only charged me $25 a ticket to make a change, whether it's a change in day or just a change in time. Very pleasant folks. Of course, there haven't been any changes in the fares either. I'm assuming that if there is an increase in fare you would be charged that also.

Yup: No charge at all, even though we switched from a Song flight to a Delta flight. The fare hasn't changed.

Very strange.
