We are planning our second DVC trip and wondered how park tickets will work. Our son will be turning 3 during our trip. Will we need a park ticket for him or are we OK if our trip begins before then?
when he is 3 you are suppose to pay I owuld guess you can get away with on his birthday itself if he does not turn 3 until a later time in time as far as dinning is concerned the same rule would apply
what time was he born?
The rule is 3.... with that said as far as meals we would order a side or something that we know he would eat and share what we order as we could always order more food otherwise you end up wasting a lot... A buffet we put him on the reservation but he fell asleep so we took him off when we got there--he woke up we gave him some mac and cheese as that is what he wnated we told the waitress and she did not add him to the final bill..
Tickets when he just turned 3 we bought a 10 day hopper non expire we went on a cruise first then to Disney for 4 day --2 days at the parks my other half forgot the ticket so...... no problem but I would have bought another if I had to or if he was not in his stroller sucking his thumb when we went to the parks
Again the rule is 3 and over I try to follow the rules
if you are asked --you should always have a copy of his BC--you will have to pay and feel noy so good to say the least.....
If he has not yet turned three at the start of your vacation, he is not three for the entire vacation. Same with a child that turns ten while on a trip. That kiddo is nine for the entire trip.

I'm buying an AP in July for our family of 4. My DD turns 10 in August, and I specifically asked this question of a CM and was told that it only matters that she is 9 the day I buy....so I think you are OK
