When we returned from our last trip I realized my DS15 had lost his AP card. I know it's linked to his magic band so do I even need to go get it replaced or should we be fine without it? And if I do want to replace it do I go to guest relations? Thanks!

You should be fine without it but I always have mine on hand just in case. And if you want to use it for discounts or parking you have to have the card or the discount card they sent with the band. If you go to guest relations with his ID then they can replace the AP.

Also wondering, I ordered my in laws each tickets for 2 days in parks and linked them to their magic bands. Is that all I have to do or do I need to go to guest relations with them before entering parks?

If its lost someone else may try to use it and cause issues for you. Id report the lost card to disney. If someone gets caught trying to use it other then your son isnt disney's policy to revoke the pass? Theres some people that are not vey nice out there and will do things just to cause issues for others.
