We will be going to Universal Studios in October of 2005, and my son will have just turned 3 in June of 2005. Will I still have to buy him a ticket, or can I get away with telling them that he's two. Do they really check that kind of stuff?

You should buy him a ticket. I wouldn't classify him as just turning 3 as he will be 3 years and 4 months old. If someone asks him how old he is at the gates, he would have to lie. It is isn't worth it just to save a few dollars. I would do the right thing and pay for him.
