Curious for any folks that have been on board the Wish recently and taken advantage of the Sommelier bin... how was it? Sounds like bubbles tend to be predictably the best luck to get value, but curious what wines ended up being from those that have partaken.

While it was almost a year ago, DH had a glass of Chardonnay and a glass of Cab Sav from the bin. I don't remember what the other options were but he was very happy with the selection he got.

Will they ultimately tell you what you are drinking?

Yes, they definitely tell you. You just will never know what might be available when you ask. If you say you'd like a red, they'll tell you what there is, but it's not like you can ask for a cabernet and expect it to be available.

It’s available at the Bayou. My friend ordered it, forgot what she got but she was pleased.
Ooo - good to know. I never thought about asking there. We had the hurricane and it was really good but we'll check out the sommelier bin there on our upcoming cruise.

It will be on the menu of the locations that will offer it, not all bars offer it. I know that The Bayou & The Rose both offer this on the Wish. As a bubbly drinker, that is my go to, and have had very good luck on getting high dollar wines at this bargain rate.

Reporting back, we did sommelier bin at both The Bayou and The Rose. The Bayou was pretty underwhelming as it was Moet Ice and seems like 9/10 times that's likely what you'd get. The Rose was much better result with Billecart Salmon being what we ended up with.

I just got off the Wish last week and did it at The Rose. We wanted sparkling but they didn't have any available so we chose red. It was a $21 glass and was delicious. Summus Banfi, Tuscany.
