Is there somewhere that we can go to at Magic kingdom or one of the resorts on the monorail that has a good turkey sandwich? We are booked for The Plaza but getting nervous after reading some reviews about the food.

What kind of turkey sandwich are you looking for? A club? Hot? Cold?

The only turkey sandwich I know of on property that consistently gets good reviews is the holiday sandwich at earl of Sandwich at DS, but I didn’t know if that was the type of sandwich that you wanted.

We have frequently eaten at the Plaza. The food is okay, but nothing special. We enjoy the ice cream more than the savory food. We haven’t had a bad meal there, but haven’t had anything particularly memorable either.

It's a boat ride away rather than just a trip on the monorail, but Geyser Point at Wilderness Lodge has a great turkey blt sandwich.
thanks! I will check it out we are actually staying at Wilderness Lodge. I just didn't know if we should leave the park or not. great option!

Definitely take the boat to Wilderness lodge. Both roaring forks and geyser point have an excellent Turkey sandwich

Last month I had an awesome turkey sandwich at Roaring Fork at Wilderness lodge. Not on the monorail but you can take a cruiser over.

All great ideas! We have to decide if we want to leave the park or not.

I like leaving MK for a break. But we will go to either Contempo Cafe or Gasparilla. Gasparilla has interesting looking sandwich options. Check the menus online for both. They are both very easy to monorail to and from park to. Also Poly is easy with unusual QS options.

If you have time catch a boat to Wilderness Lodge & head to Geyser Point. They do a great Turkey Sandwich there that always tastes delicious.

Contempo cafe at CR has a warm turkey sandwich that’s always very popular. Quick monorail or walk away.

Hot Turkey Sandwich
Roasted Turkey, Smoked Bacon, Arugula, Seasoned Tomato, White Cheddar and Avocado Mayonnaise served on Toasted Multigrain Bread

I second this one. We had this one in March, ordered and then took it out to the pool at the Contemporary, and it was delicious! I would love to go back and get it again.

Well I think I will be eating my way around disney with turkey sandwiches! ;)

thanks you guys! I will see what my husband thinks. we do have lots of lunch times so we can check these out according to our plans!

Geyser Point Turkey BLT.

We usually leave the MK for lunch, either Geyser Point or Steakhouse 71 Lounge. Doesn't take long and it's miles better than most MK food.

Turkey sandwich report!
We played it by ear as far as where to go for lunch and with the rain it changed our plans a bit.
We had the turkey club at The Plaza in Magic Kingdom. It was nice to sit and relax in air conditioning. The club was great!
We ended up back at Wilderness lodge for lunch because of at the rain and we had a tiring time trying to get transportation back. So we decided to have dinner at Geyser Point. and Yes I got a turkey sandwich. It was great and the fries were good. We just did the takeout and sat at a table under an umbrella and it started raining but we were dry.
The bar there is beautiful and you can also order there.

The next stop was for lunch another day and we ended up at Yacht and Beach Club Ale and Compass - quick serve. Turns out the sandwiches are made already and in the cooler there. But it was good.
I like simple easy sandwiches when traveling.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We will try the others on the next trip. LOL

We did have other food for dinners. :)

We had lunch one day at Epcot at the Boulangerie in France and I got the ham and cheese croissant. My husband got the chicken pesto sandwich. Very good.

I saw one on the Kona menu at the Poly that looked amazing!
