We're off in May, along with the rest of the DIS DLP forum(!), and I feel like we really ought to eat somewhere different this time.
We always eat at the same places: Cafe Mickey, Chalet au Marionettes, Silver Spur, Plaza Gardens, Rainforest Cafe and Victoria's.
Any suggestions for somewhere we should try? The only one I wouldn't go for is Blue Lagoon as there's nothing on that menu that DD6 would eat!

My DD's faves are Annettes and Billy Bobs - she's a bit of a fussy eater and she has a good choice in both those restaurants.

We have the same problem as you, going for our 9th trip in June and normally go for the same places.
However going by reviews this year we are going to try the Chuck Wagon Buffet at Cheyanne as the reviews have been really good.
I would always reccomend Walts. We will also be going to Toad Hall which we have never done before.

I would agree with Annette's - my DD(5) loved it there. We went in the evening and were treated to the singing.:thumbsup2 The other place I really liked was Walt's - I love the location and the restaurant.

Thanks! We've been to Annette's but never with the children so we may give that a go. Would love to try Walts but we'll have to see how the budget goes!

Where is Walts? Also this got me thinking...is Cafe Mickey the only character dinner you can goto?

Walts is on Main St USA in the park.

There are a few character meals as well as Cafe Mickey :) .
Theres the lunch at the Lucky Nugget saloon, theres also the tea party (this is either at the Lucky Nugget or the Pizza Planet). Theres also Inventions at the DLH (is California Grill at the DLH a character meal too?). Plus on Sundays, the brunch at the Steakhouse in the Village.

hmmmm, we have dined in all the restaurants multiple times, and have learned which ones we love and offer great value and the ones to avoid. Our safe list where we have always had great experiences are as follows:

Table/Buffet:
Walts (though service and food quality are sometimes not great)
Silver Spur
Plaza Gardens
California Grill
Steakhouse
Annettes
King Ludwigs
Yacht Club
Chinese in La Terrase Val De Europe
Hippo Grill in La Terrase Val De Europe
Creperie in Bailly Romanvilliers

Counter Service
Casey Corner
Fuente Del Oro
Cowboy Cookout BBQ
Pizzeria Belle Notte

Thanks for the replies, and the long list davewasbaloo! I do fancy trying the brunch at the steakhouse. Can I book this, how much is it and what food is on offer please?

Just to add that the buffet at Rendez vous des Stars is or at least was far superior to the Lucky Nugget last weekend, no characters but oh I love the little Remi figure, on Saturday he had a female companion and she was very boring, just pushed him around, but on Sunday his theatrical male companion was singing very loudly/badly and was very funny and entertaining. :)
