My 180 day window opens up on Monday. You would think I'd be all excited and ready, right?
WRONG. I am completely overwhelmed.
I have poured over menus... checked park hours, made touring plans.. fiddled with our reservations e.t.c. e.t.c.
I am also knee deep in the planning of a very large wedding and we are three months away from that so It's crunch time.
I think I have just completely overwhelmed myself. Tell me to relax and just submit the list of ADR's to my TA and be done with it. The world will not end if I pick a restaurant we don't love. I am becoming an obsesive freak:rolleyes1
Please tell me somebody can relate:scared:

YES!!!

I have three lists and have to decide on one of them before 4/16

Here they are..

Liberty Tree Tavern
Sci-Fi
Ohana
Lecellier
Tusker House Breakfast
Boma

OR

Liberty Tree
Sci-Fi
Ohana
Lecellier
Rainforest Cafe Breakfast-OOP
Hoop Dee Doo (done last year)

OR

Liberty Tree Tavern
Sci-Fi
Boma
Lecellier
Rainforest Cafe Breakfast-OOP
Ohana
Chef Mickey Breakfast- Departure Day

See its so hard, we did enjoy Hoop Dee Doo but we have done that and even though I would like to see it again, I want to try something different..

:rolleyes1

I think at this point you close your eyes and point your finger and go with whatever list it lands on.
We must take back control of our lives!! :lmao:

Not only can I relate - I think I might have you beat :rotfl2:

I have spent the last 5 days, pouring over ADRs, park plans etc to make sure that I have exactly the right ADRs for exactly the right time of day, on exactly the right days...

My wife doesn't even remember what I look like anymore!

Well I finally made them. Got first pick on everything:goodvibes
Except that in a last minute of panic I choked and picked a restaurant I hadn't even considered previously.. Chip and Dales Harvest Feast at the Garden Grill:confused3
Not sure where that came from... nobody in our family will even eat catfish.. or is particularly fond of Chip and Dale:lmao:
I am pretty sure I'll be letting that one go.
Other than that.... I am happy.
But boy can I relate to the obsessing:rolleyes:
Fey_spirit... go give your wife a hug before she has you committed:rotfl2:

In defense of Garden Grill, you may want to keep the ADR. My last trip was in Oct (two weeks long with ADRs every day) and even though there were definitely restaurants with food I enjoyed more, the Garden Grill meal was one of the most fun experiences we had during the whole trip. The characters were frequently by our table, spent a lot of time with us, and were pretty wacky. It was a lot of fun.

The food is good (I also detest catfish, so I didn't eat it); I particularly liked the flank steak. You can also order as many "seconds" as you care to of the food you like the best. The "revolving restaurant" is also fun; you can watch the other tourists on their Land boat ride and travel through a significant portion of the ride.

Anyway, just sayin' you might want to reconsider dumping the ADR.

Actually that's great to hear! Thank you. Like I said, I hadn't even considered it before so it kind of suprised me that I picked it. But I think we shoudl give it a shot. :)

As much as I love hoop-dee-doo I would go with list three.
Liberty Tree Tavern - Always a great meal and the characters
Sci-Fi - Lots of fun especially with a family
Boma - You get to hang out at AKL (I would go early to check out the lodge and the animals)
Lecellier - Love this place! Lived off the chedder cheese soup and pretzel bread for a year
Rainforest Cafe Breakfast-OOP - The only one I might change - to Tusker house for breakfast and the characters it is really good (my sister was just there)
Ohana - Always great every single time!
Chef Mickey Breakfast- Departure Day - Love chef mickey and a great way to end the trip

We haven't even booked our planned trip yet, so this is all still hypothetical, but when hubby looked at the list of restaurants just in MK, his eyes glazed over and he officially put the planning in MY lap, and has officially allowed me to flip out about it as much as I need to. :)

We're DLR people, so the sheer number of choices astounds us.
