Sometimes the Best Plan is to Forget the Plan!!

OKay, so now I have some of my double, way-future, ptr stuff! (Oh and for the record, I'll probably make real, "official" ptr's once they are actually booked!)

Okay...so first, I'm pretty sure we're very set on staying at the Wilderness Lodge next year for Christmas. With Deluxe Dining. We're probably going to have to rent points. I really would love to use the buy 4 nights, get 3 free deal, but that usually isn't until January and we just want to see the Christmas stuff REALLY REALLY bad!!

Also, I have a question about the cruise...again! Okay, so do you think I should stick with a 7 night Caribbean one on the Magic OR do you think I should do a shorter cruse (4 night) on the NEW Disney Dream...with all its virtual portholes, water coaster and TONS of other magical stuff. What do you guys think? I'm just in love with the new ship but I want to do a longer cruise. I'm so torn! Please give your opinions on my huge dilemma!! (Of course, another option would be a back to back cruise, but I don't think I'd want to do that...)

I think you should book the May 29th, 2011 sailing on the Disney Dream. Just saying. It is a 5-night cruise with two stops at Castaway Cay, a sea day and a port day in Nassau.

I did already know that!! That is definitely what I'm leaning towards!! The Dream is what set, the time isn't now though!! I keep changing my mind!

I'm glad you got your tree up! I've been wanting to pull mine down from the attic, but I've squashed that urge for the moment. My DH always makes fun of me for getting it out before Thanksgiving. But, with all the Christmas music being played and the stores putting out their decorations, you just want to!

We usually put up our tree Thanksgiving night or the next day. I don't know what to do this year because we are going out of town for Thanksgiving, won't be back until the Sunday after. I really don't want to put up our tree this coming weekend, but doubt I'll fell like putting it up when we get home. And I think December 5 is awfully late to put up our tree!

I can't even help up with your Cruise decision. Have you ever been on one before? Maybe a shorter one on the Dream would be a good starter cruise to make sure you don't freak out!?! Or at least another excuse to help you choose the Dream! I'll have to check it out...

Yes it's great!! We've had a fake one forever and we had to get a new one this year after all our moving. We just bought it this weekend (sale!) and put it up!! We usually wait until after Thanksgiving but I'm loving that its up already!! Christmastime always goes by so fast!! Plus, all the stores and radios have all the stuff, plus all the commercials!! It's the holiday season, people just need to deal with it!!

HMMMM I think I would definitely put it up right before you go. Then you could come home to a festive nice house and not have to worry about putting it up then!!

I'm thinking of just going with the starter. I pretty much just know I, personally, will be itching to book another as soon as I step off, but you are right to make sure cruising fits with everyone. My mom is TERRIFIED of water but surprisingly, she actually wants to go on a cruise now and who knows how Landon will do? You are right, a shorter one would be better to start off! (Just watch, they'll do fine and I'll be the one with the issues! )

See, I want a new one this year. I've had mine for like nine years, it's a 6 1/2 foot prelit. But I want one that is at least a foot taller. And I'm with you - Christmas goes by way too fast! You need time to enjoy all of the pretty lights and decorations. I bet Landon LOVES the tree!

I think ours is 7 1/2 feet! I believe they got it from Walmart. They actually went to Home Depot first because of a good sale but hated that tree and loved the one at walmart! Its prelit!! I love it! We've never had one of those before!! Landon really does love it! I'll post pics in the next post!

Okay, here is another picture of Landon from his birthday weekend!! I just wanted to post it because I think he looks so adorabe in his little hat that someone gave him! He loves it too! Sometimes he brings it to me to put on him! It says "Future Bronco" on it!

Now here is Landon looking at our tree! He was just in awe!

Everytime sports are on, especially football, Landon just stands there and watches!! (He also claps and says "woooooo!")

Here's a picture to show my Mickey wreath! I got it last January when it was on sale at the Disney outlet online store!! I've been waiting to put it up for so long!

Landon also got a new wintery cup! Its a penguin witha scarf! I love penguins! He was just watching football and drinking his juice!

Super cute pics of Landon, Kimmy! And that tree is SO PRETTY...I know exactly what you mean about wanting those decorations to go up sooner rather than later - I wrapped all my gifts this weekend and my tree is going up next week!

Here is my 2 cents on the cruises; if it were me, I would go on the shorter Dream cruise. I say this for 2 reason:

1) It's the new boat, with the new water coaster, it's new...etc. That alone makes me want to go on it, and now!
2) I would advise a shorter cruise first, just to make sure you like it and would be happy on a longer one. I was 99.9% sure that I would LOVE our cruise, and I did - so now I know that I would have a blast on a 7day cruise. Just an opinion.

That hat is too cute! We won't be talking to each other on Thanksgiving though...Giants/Broncos. I'm not even that big of a football fan but if I had to pick between my two local teams, I'd definitely take the Giants!

See, that's the tree that I want! Except with clear lights. I like the tall and skinny trees better than the wider ones. They take up less room!

Your tree is beautiful, and I love the Disney ornaments! Your Mickey wreath is really cute, too. I want to make one!!!! Probably harder than it looks, though.

And of course, Landon is just the cutest thing ever! How cute that he likes football!
