Ahh, that stinks about the stroller!!! I have been having the stroller/Disney dilemma for a while now. We have two strollers: our umbrella stroller that I am in love with and was one of my BIG splurges (almost $300) and we use it for everything, then our second one stays in the house in case for some reason we need it. The second stroller was also a big splurge (almost $200),but I don't like it as much. So we always have the which stroller to take discussion. We have always ended up bringing the more expensive one b/c it is easier to push, easier to fold, holds what we need, etc....but I would be SO upset if something happened to it! Hopefully the lack of a stoller doesn't mess with the rest of the trip!!!

i have a few collections like the disney bears, i got for DW when parker was born.

but mostly we just collect ones we like, we try and get a few of each character and branch out some, but i am pretty partial to donald, so a good chunk of mine are donald, but now i have been trading for the other characters.

i am also looking for a mrs incredible for candi, she has the rest of the family but we cant find that one.

That's awesome! I have a ton of princess ones. I like those best. I would love the Incredible family, I don't think I even saw any! Maybe I'll take a picture of the ones I got for you. I also got some other cool ones like this great Genie one, when a cast member didn't have any princesses.

I also got a lot of the toddler princes and princesses. They were cute and it just seemed like they were everywhere to trade for and that would be all they have of "royalty"

ohh also, my mom seemed interested in it last time we came home, so since they are taking us on the trip next summer, we got my mom some also that we are going to give her for mothers day so she can trade along with us.

That's so awesome! I bet she'll really enjoy it!

I know...why is it always such a dilemma?! I'm sure it's very rare thing that something happens to the stroller while in Disney. Though I did read a thread recently about someone's who got stolen! :scared1: That would be terrible!! I'm still sure it's VERY rare though. But you really do need a good one there...you don't want one thats hard or uncomfortable to push, or that is terribly at folding, doesn't hold anything or is uncomfortable for the kid!

But Landon got some magic in the stroller department :wizard:

ESPN Club looks fun! We've only been in the gift shop part, but never ate there. That would definately be fun if one of your teams was playing. How neat that being on camera thing was! Hahaha, t.v.'s in the bathroom! Only at WDW! :rotfl:

I had to laugh at Landon being a ladies man. My little guy has one shirt that says "Ladies Man" and another one says "Dude, your girlfriend keeps checking me out". :rotfl2:

It was super fun! Next time I'm going to try to be there for one of my teams! I know, the tv's in the bathroom are great!! You don't want to miss anything!!

Aw those shirts sound so cute!! Landon could totally get good use out of one of those. I can't wait until you read about Landon's day of charming the ladies! It will make you that much more excited to bring your little guy!

First of all, no, we don't do pin trading. But we've decided that when we take kids, we'll for sure let them! I'm sure they'd really like it.

Way to go ditching the stroller!! :thumbsup2 I would have probably thrown it! ESPN club sounds like a lot of fun. And that's SOO cool that you got to be interviewed! Too bad you don't have pics of it...but it's the memory that counts, right! ;) I can't believe you have so many towel animals! That's so fun!! :goodvibes

I didn't get into pin trading as much as my mom did, and it was good because it kept her entertained while my dad and I did the thrill rides! She would get so bored before she discovered that!! I got all mine off ebay though...otherwise they really do get SUPER pricey!

ESPN Club is really fun! I loved being interviewed...I definitely have that memory and the cup to prove it!

I'm a HUGE Bills fan and would have loved to be at the ESPN club that night. That game started out very exciting and then it turned into a heartbreaker. :sad1: Losing by one point is worse than a blowout. Although, I probably wouldn't have been able to sit there in the midst of all those Pats fans (no offense to anyone reading this that likes the Pats).

It seems like you had a great day at DHS. I agree with you about the SOA. Very warm! Your photopass pics were once again awesome. I love Landon's little smile! :goodvibes

Another great update, Kimmy! Sounds like you guys had a nice time!

I love those towel animals they do - so cute!! When we went on our cruise last year, they had a monkey made out of towels and hangning from a clothes hanger, it was so cute!! :lovestruc

Looking forward to reading more!

Awww, that is too bad that your parents didn't get a pictures, sounds like you really had fun doing it though.

Not the last day! :scared1:

Catching up again--great updates!

Love the photos of you and Landon, especially the one with ToT. His smile was definitely worth all the photographer's efforts! :goodvibes

Great luck about the TSM FPs! :cool1: I would have been so excited too. Cute photos of Buzz, Woody and you two. And I am super-happy because I thought I was going to have to wait until Christmas for TSM for Wii, but my DH just gave me it for my birthday! :woohoo: Woo hoo!

Yeah I don't like the Pats either! I was going for the Bills that night. We play them Sunday...I hope we kick their butts! Sorry that game was a heartbreaker. One point is way worse than a blowout. How have they been doing since that game?

Thanks! We had so much fun!! I'm addicted to PhotoPass!

Aw the monkey towel animal sounds super cute!

Thanks!

We did have so much fun even though there aren't pictures from that night! Oh well...

I'm so sad about the last day...but it was one of the best days still!

I wish all the photographers would've put in that much effort! But that's okay...it really shows his personality at this age because he's pretty serious unless you give him a good reason to smile!

I loved TSM! I better get TSM and Wii for Christmas! So glad you got it for your birthday! Is it close to as fun as the real thing? That's so cool!! I would probably be addicted

We had a later breakfast ADR this morning! 9:30 at Chef Mickey’s. (Except I thought it was 9…more on that laterl) So we drove over to the Contemporary.

I took a picture of my beloved ride’s advertisement.
P1030387.jpg

And then we were there!
P1030388.jpg

Landon loved watching the monorail come through!
P1030389.jpg

We checked in and here is where they told me that I was SUPER early for my ADR. Oh well. They give us the buzzer and we get our picture taken.
P1030390.jpg

Now this is the first part of the day that Landon is a complete lady’s man. About 3 or 4 families with nothing but little girls come through and they all just ADORE Landon. They all played with him and walked with him and he smiled at them and just charmed them. One of the families even had 4 girls and they were all just falling over Landon. He was just eating it up. That family had a 2 year old girl and she even gave Landon a couple of kisses. It was so funny…just every family that came had only little girls and they all flirted with Landon. Here’s a pic with one of the girls that had a good time flirting with Landon (the mom was taking pictures too so its okay!)
P1030391.jpg

Landon’s face is just like “Mom! Stop, you’re embarrassing me in front of the girls!”

We finally get called and as soon as we sit down, the dancing starts!
P1030392.jpg

The big cheese himself is right by us! But then he goes into the kitchen!

First is Goofy. He wasn’t really that interactive.
P1030395.jpg

Pluto comes by next and gets down to Landon’s level and shows him how to pet him. Once I showed Landon it was okay, he ended up doing it too.
P1030398.jpg

Then Donald came and Landon gave him kisses! I know it’s gross…but still cute!
P1030400.jpg

Then there was ANOTHER dance.
P1030401.jpg

And then Minnie went back to where she was and here was where I got SUPER annoyed. The first 3 characters all went in the EXACT same order of tables. But they did take a little longer. This definitely had the longest wait of any of the breakfasts I went to. Pretty much every one was done waiting for Mickey and Minnie. Well, the table right next to us has this HUGE party and they start standing up like right behind MY table and so Minnie thought that we were all together and me and my mom had to stand up and make sure they got to us. It was terrible. Wait your turn, people! We know its taking a while but we want to see the characters just as much you! They’ll get to you just like the previous ones have!

Here’s Landon waving to Minnie:
P1030403.jpg

Look how excited he is! He totally warmed up to the characters! I loved it. It was just so magical, I will ALWAYS treasure this memories! He was definitely not too young to go to Disney!

Since my mom and I were up “defending our territory”, we got pics too!
P1030404.jpg

P1030405.jpg

Then finally Mickey came!
P1030407.jpg

P1030410.jpg

Landon had the BEST interaction with Mickey. It still melts my heart. He was so excited to meet him.
P1030408.jpg

While he was signing his autograph (because my mom just HAD to have it again, lol), Landon grabbed his buttons:
P1030412.jpg

P1030411.jpg

I don’t know why he likes buttons but he does! Mickey saw that he was grabbing them and I don’t know…he must have just thought that Landon was the cutest thing ever and he bent and gave him a huge hug, creating my favorite picture of Landon with a character of the whole trip!
P1030413.jpg

You can even see Landon’s little arm and it looks like he’s hugging him back (even though he’s still grabbing the button…lol!)

And that concludes our Chef Mickey’s breakfast! I apologize for the lack of food pictures. But I’ll remember that all I ate was breakfast pizza. I’m addicted!

We didn’t have a park scheduled during the day since we were going to be at MNSSHP all night. What would we do to pass the time?!

I love that picture of Landon and Mickey! Too cute!! :goodvibes I've never been to Chef Mickey's, it looks like fun.

Some great interaction and pictures at Chef Mickey's!

Yeah, you have to stand your ground sometimes at Disney....on some of the rides, like RnRC as you mentioned before, and when characters are involved. Good job!

Aw, I love Chef Mickey's! Swinging the napkin is my favorite part...as you can tell from the pics in my TR.

Ugh, I hate it when people from other tables get up and try to get to the characters while they are at YOUR table. :headache: But, Landon looks like he was having a blast with all the characters. Love the pic of him and Mickey hugging! :lovestruc

Aw...Landon and the ladies. That pic of him with that girl does look like he's telling you that you are embarassing him.

Oh my goodness! Those pictures just melted my heart! :goodvibes I love the ones of Landon with Mickey and Minnie. It's adorable that he touched their noses and buttons and just that he loved them! How sweet!!! :cutie: Oh--and I loved the caption under the flirting picture! Such the ladies man ;)

Thanks!! It is really fun but if you ever do go prepared for it to be loud and busy! I can understand the long wait to be seated since we were a half hour early, but even once we were seated, it took close to TWO hours for all the characters to come. It's a lot of fun though, there's just this energy to it! I would definitely go back, but just thought you should be prepared if you do ever go! :goodvibes

We got great interaction! You really do have to stand your ground sometimes! Maybe some people just need a firm reminder that they will indeed get a turn and they don't need to get all up in someone else's bubble to do so!

I love Chef Mickey's and napkin twirling too! Disney sure knew what they were doing with both of those! :rotfl:

Those people were ridiculous! Luckily they got it when my mom and I stood up. If they hadn't...this mama bear would've been a little more confrontational about it! Him and Mickey were so cute.

Landon ends up charming some older, more famous (;)) ladies too! He always gives me those looks! He cracks me up!

I know...I love them too! I'm so glad he really warmed up to them! If you look back at the Crystal Palace pics, you can see how skeptical he was of them! He is a ladies man and he likes blondes. More on that later! ;)

very very good character pics

does he make a kissing noise when he kisses,

parker is starting to do that, he goes mmmmmmm when giving kisses, it is funny cause sometimes, if he really does not want to touch his lips to someone and we tell him togive them a kiss, he will just make the noise while looking at them, like there i did it
