Kimmy!!!! You took great pics. Looks like you had awesome seats. That stadium is gorgeous! My parents visted my Uncle who lived in Colorado and he took them to the stadium. The pictures they took were so nice.
Love the pic of you and Landon.
Too bad our boys didn't win! UGH!
Cute pics, love the Bronco's gear
Hmmm...
I'm thankful for everything I have
Oh, and let's not forget about the Yankees winning the World Series!
I totally understand how it feels with the whole 4-game loosing streak. Totally stinks.
Loveeeeeeeee those pictures Kimmy!!! Landon is adorable running around in the 3D glasses and the Santa hat
Love the Broncos gear shot too! Even if it is THE BRONCOS....![]()
Aw..Landon is adorable! But you already knew that!
You guys look so cute all decked out in Broncos stuff!
Love the stadium pics!
I love the picture of him in the 3D glasses. Adorable!
It's on, Kimmy!I'd be better at trash talking if this were an Avs/Rangers matchup lol.
Everyone looks better in 3D glasses!!
You're hilarious!! You just let me know whenever there is a matchup between us so I can at least learn some of the Av's names!!
But until then, you tell Mr. Manning that my friends Dawkins and Dumervil can't wait to show him what Denver turf tastes like!! Remind him to pack his dental floss!

I don't even think I know any of the Avs names! I used to know them - Sakic, Roy, Forsberg. Now I have no freakin clue. I think the Avs are actually pretty good this year.
Those are the names I used to know too. Weren't they on the team back when we won the Stanley Cup?I think they were also on the team last time I actually went to a game!
Kimmy--I'll be keeping you & Landon in my thoughts & prayers!
I hope you guys had a Happy Thanksgiving...go Broncos, right?!?!
How's your photobucket? I'm ready for some more of your Disney pictures. Not to mean I don't like those Bronco shots! That looks like a really nice stadium and so much fun. I've never been to an NFL game! Landon is so cute!
Well, I did it. I started a PTR tonight. Saturday is our 180 day mark!
Still haven't seen New Moon, and I won't I'm sure until it comes out on DVD,, but I'm so glad to hear it's better than Twilight. I loved loved loved the books, and didn't see the movie until after I'd read them all, but the movie was just not good.
If I hadn't read the books I'd have never understood what all the fuss was about.
Are you going shopping tomorrow? I don't usually, but I'm thinking about going with Allison...we'll see!![]()
Yup, they won the Cup. I always liked Sakic but hated Roy and Forsberg!
You crack me up. So how was your Thanksgiving? Aside from certain football games, since I know how that was...

I didn't even watch the game lol. I watched most of the Packers game and the Cowboys (my SIL likes them) and we had football on all day. Then when it was time for the Giants my mom decided she wanted to watch Survivor. My Thanksgiving was ok. I played with my nephews for most of it. My aunt just passed very recently (on Tuesday) and my cousin 2 months prior to this so everyone was kind of sad.
Hey, my name is Katie and I have to tell you how much of a help your post trip report has been. I am taking my son, who will turn 10 months during our vacation, along with his dad, my mom, and brother. I have been so many times before but never with a baby, none the less, my own baby. And although I have been WAY over excited there was still a part of me that was SO nervous about taking a baby to Disney. You're trip has helped calm my nerves a lot! And I must admit, I am totally stealing one of your ideas, and will be taking my son to get his first hair cut on main street.
I'm 21 so unlike a LARGE majority of people on here I'm a pretty young mom like you, which made your post that much more helpful
I was wondering if you took him on a couple rides and what his reaction was (Pirates of the caribbean and haunted mansion to begin with)
Also, was there anything you didn't pack that you wish you had, any rides you wish you took him on that you didn't get the chance to?
Thanks!
Hi Katie!! Thanks for reading!! You will have so much fun taking your son at this age!!
I personally think at this age, they are too young to really be so afraid of the characters they stay scared. At first its kinda scary how big they are but they can warm up to them easily!! That's what Landon did anyway and it just makes sense for their age. So take ease your son into the characters at first if you want to meet them!!
I took Landon on pretty much every ride that doesn't have a height restriction. There are tons in like Fantasyland. I think the only times we had problems with rides were because Landon was tired and that's what made him fussy. I don't think he was afraid or anything. Those ones were Peter Pan's Flight and Pirates. They were also darker rides though, so maybe he was scared a little too? I'm not sure. I know some of the explosions in Pirates scared him but then we got stuck and he kept getting so close to falling asleep on the ride but then something else would explode. Pooh is very good because of all the colors. Also, one of Landon's favorites was definitely It's a Small World. I'm sure your son will love it too, it just has so much stuff to stimulate baby's senses in just the right amount! Then Landon fell asleep on the safari (I think it may have rocked him to sleep!) and also on Spaceship: Earth. (I'm starting to see a trend...I wonder if I for some reason tried to drag Landon on to rides when he was tired?I didn't even realize until now!)
Also, can your son walk? Or is he crawling at least? I just know that Landon didn't like being stuck in his stroller all day. Sometimes we would find little areas (like the eating area in The Land Pavilion at Epcot or various other places) and we'd just let him out and he'd run around. He loved being able to stretch his legs and it was probably really his favorite part! He'd just go nuts getting all his energy out. So just keep that in mind...I think any baby on the move would like time to move around!! Can you imagine just sitting in a stroller all day? I would hate it!!
When are you going?
I think I start obsessing about food more the closer it gets to lunch time. I've been looking at menus and have the food porn thread open...Can't help it!! Anyway...here is what I am thinking:
Arrive whenever...depends on when we can get a plane.
We would eat dinner this night...either at a signature restaurant (Artist Point, Narcoossee's and California Grill are our options) or at Captain's Grill--loved those crab legs!!
**OK, please keep this day in mind. Whether its a signature restaurant or CG depends on something on the day we leave that I want y'alls opinion on!!**
On our MK day, we'd have another early breakfast at Crystal Palace and then lunch at The Plaza!! We would hop on the monorail over to 'Ohanas for dinner! MMMMM!!
For our Epcot day--which you all know my mother is protesting--we would have Kona for breakfast (since I do not plan on getting to Epcot on time), Wolfgang Puck for lunch (or a Epcot CS if we were still there and hungry...), and then ESPN Club for dinner. Of course, this will have to syncronize with football somehow, preferably a Broncos game, otherwise I may opt for Big River Grill.
On our AK day, we would fill up on breakfast at TH, snack throughout the day for lunch (remember we will have 63 credits for pretty much 6 days...) and then go to Mickey's Backyard BBQ or the luau.
For DHS day, breakfast would be at Hollywood & Vine (mostly so we could get into the park before rope drop!) and then lunch at 50's Primetime. Dinner would be at the backyard BBQ or luau--whichever we didn't the previous night.
For Sea World day, we will probably shoot for the Ohanas character breakfast. We may end up picking something up from the food court, it just depends on time. Obviously, we can't use the dining plan at SW, so we'll pay for something OOP there. Dinner will be at Whispering Canyon Cafe since we skipped that last time!!
Our last full day, we won't go into the parks until the evening for MVMCP. (Much like we did this year for the halloween party.) I'm thinking breakfast at Grand Floridan Cafe...it may just be at a food court though. Lunch will be at Beaches and Cream...helloooooo ice cream!! Then dinner will be at Tony's and I'll do my best to make sure we don't eat to close to dinner so we won't want to skip it this time!!
So that brings us to leaving day...now, depending on what we do our first night, we will either have ONE credit left or TWO. If it is just one, we'll probably have breakfast at Chef Mickey's and get lunch at the airport. Now if its two (and also depending on when our flight it...), I was thinking adding an extra park day and going to Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast!! What do you guys think?? I think that would be great, but I think it hugely depends on when we leave. I would not add an extra park day to go to breakfast and then have to go to the airport. But this year, our plane left late enough that we could've had a half day in the park.
Let me know what you guys think about everything!!
