Today, Saturday, I get rudely woken up by hammering on the wall of my bedroom at 8:15 AM. To top it off I'm feeling terrible this morning, all conjested and need rest.

The pounding continued behind my head for 15 minutes and then I finally got out of bed and went into the hall to find the source of the noise. I went upstairs and found a tarp and bucket outside the unit above me.

I knocked on the door and asked the workman how long this was to continue. He said "quite a while." Then he said he did wait till 8 to start. I reminded him that it was Saturday morning. He told me the major hammering was done. I go back downstairs and the drill starts up! :mad:

May I add that the woman who lives upstairs is retired and has all week to get things done. However, she continues to have work done and to do chores (like laundry) at odd hours when it disturbs others. She's unlike my neighbor (that works) who has been having major work done in her unit but has work start on weekdays after 9:30 AM.

How aggravating :mad:

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I hope you can get some rest and feel 100% better soon. {{{HUGS}}}

Sorry Margie. I hope you feel a little bit better by being able to vent about it though:D . Everything is more annoying when you don't feel well, isn't it? Hope you're able to get some rest today, and will be feeling better soon. But hey, at least it's spring today!! Yay!!!:Pinkbounc

Reminiscent of the retired people who have to get out on the raods between 730-9AM, and drive 5 miles an hour while the rest of us are trying to get to work!

Thanks all for letting me vent. I did manage to get some sleep and just got out of bed around 3 PM. Remarkably there hasn't been a peep from upstairs since around 10 AM. I wonder if anyone else said anything to the unit owner. When I was upstairs most of the newspapers were still outside of unit doors (as they were on my floor), indicating that people were probably not up yet. Our walls are like drums so you can hear and feel pounding through a few units.

Now if I can get rid of this awful conjestion I'd be much better.

Feel better soon, Margie. I'm glad you were able to get some rest. Sometimes that is the best thing you can do when you aren't feeling well.

I'm sorry, Margie.....*HUG*

I hope you feel better soon.
