I am a current DVC owner and in the process of purchasing a resale contract. I was in the vacation planning tool on the DVC website and the contract I am hoping to buy showed up as a possible home resort. I have not been informed that it has passed ROFR yet. Does this mean it already passed? I don't see it in my dashboard or account.

If you've transferred points, had points extended, or used purchased OTU points that can also explain it....otherwise that could be something interesting to watch.

If you have not signed closing documents, there is no way for it to be what you are buying,

They can’t take it from the previous owner until they receive confirmation the sale closed, and the new deed recorded.

As mentioned, if you have had any transferred, OTU or extended 2018 points, that is most likely what that is.

I have no transferred or banked, I always use up my points. I did buy some OTU points, but they are already in a reservation. It's also weird that they would be the resort I am buying.

Then if you have bought OTU points, that is why it is there. The new updates allow for you to use them online, So, even though they are there in a reservation, that temporary contract is what would allow you to modify it online..which you could never do,

I think it is just a coincidence that its the same resort because when they sell OTU, they pull from whatever resorts show up for The CM to sell a member.

Mine showed up for transferred points I had in a reservation. I had to Cancel and rebook, and when I did, that is where the points went For me to use in a different trip.

Then if you have bought OTU points, that is why it is there.

I've never borrowed or bought OTU points and right now it shows VGF as a home resort for me - even shows up in the list of points available to book with although the balance is zero. I have two contracts (PVB and AKV).

From what I've read there's a glitch in the system right now causing other home resorts to show up.

Did you have any banked 2018 points that got extended? Or transferred points? t will show for those too

No, I bought 100 direct AKV 3 weeks ago and a resale 150 PVB that went in my account a week ago. The resale PVB contract did have 55 2019 points banked so maybe that’s the thing causing it to show up with the GF home resort? The points all said they’d expire at the right time, didn’t show as extended that I could see.

I wonder if the previous owner had had transferred or OTU points at one time during the current UY prior to sale?
