We have staked out a spot for the fireworks our last few trips right in front of the castle. Which meant that we had to get there at least an hour to an hour and a half early. Our butts hurt so bad and we were so uncomfortable but it meant an awesome fireworks experience.

So, I was thinking that we would want to do the same thing for the Halloween fireworks. Not looking forward to all that sitting on the concrete!

Any ideas other than a jacket of what we could take that we could sit on and be more comfortable for that length of time? Something small that could fold up or inflate or something? We don't have any kids in strollers so it would need to fit in our backpack.

TIA,
Kelly

I have gone to the dollar store and bought the inflatable back cushions meant for the bath tub. They work great, and lasted multiple uses.

Maybe checkout the dollar store and see if they still have any of the small inflatable water toys. Just keep them in their package until it is time to stake out your spot and they shouldn't take up too much room.

On one of our recent trips my husband brought one of those foam pads you use to kneel on while gardening. It fit in our backback just fine and didn't weigh a bit!

Oh, good ideas! Thanks for the responses. I'm going to look into all these and see what works best.
