I called Disney to check on a reservation from yesterday that I made (I have special needs) and they couldn't access the ressie, right now. I called twice and was told they are upgrading the system. This may be normal maintenance, but I called at 10 am eastern and I would think that's a bad time for normal maintenance especially on Sunday when a lot of people are off from work.

We shall see.

I just tryed to get into the system online to play around with our dates and different resorts and it's says the system is unavailable. Interesting......

Now it comes up with booking room only at the bottom of the page says "sorry we are unable to book vacation packages at this time. Please try again later".

We want a deal for the last week of April!!!! I hate waiting its driving me crazy!!! With excitment that is!! We are going for sure in 2010!!! My DH is hooked now!!! It took him a while but he has been bitten by the Disney bug!LOL!!! He finds it so easy for travel with our DD!

On the look out!!!!! If a deal comes out and expires the end of Mar. should we move our vacation ahead???!!!??nI would hate to lose out!!!

What part of April are ya'll going....spring break and Easter fall in April this year....if you need a special offer; you may want to push up (depending on the deal that is offered). But, tradionally around Easter and spring breaks are one of the busiest--so less offers!

If I were you, I would be watching the deals intently!!!!

So, happy you are able to return in 2010! we are going back also (my DH and Ihave a past agreement to return every 5 yrs or so! we just went this past May.....but, he has agreed to return in 2010!! we just don't know if we are going back in Feb or Nov of 2010! )

WDW will release something on Thursday Oct 1.

it seems most of the system is still down. I was told to try late afternoon or even tommorrow; so, you know it's a major change over whatever it is.

Waiting and thinking of what the deal might be and where we will stay because of it!!!!

We would like to go the last week of April maybe the 22-29 to be exact! I found a direct flight that day! My DD 16 is in wheelchair so it makes it easier for DH. I have not found a seat sale but I guess I can't it all! My DS b-day is the 26 he will be 11 and my b-day is the 27! Hate to admit it but its my 40 b-day! Yikes!!! The first week of April the 2-9 will work for DD b-day she will be 17! She would be thrilled!

If the deal is too good to pass on then we will go fo some part of March break. Ex. 10-17,,its kind of in the middle. So, who knows!

Yes I had no problem about 3 hours ago (EST) booking a package (just running scenarios). Hopefully we'll all know this week what discounts are in store!!

I imagine the reason the system was down was because they were removing the "old" discount codes that expired today, not because they were adding something new. But here's hoping they add something new very, very soon! Thursday can't come soon enough!

I will say that Sat. night at 1030pm Pacific time I was fiddling around with dates and stuff. The free dining special had already been removed from the site at that time and replaced with the MNSSHP ad. I even clicked the "special offers" tab, and the info had already been removed. Why would the system be down on Sunday if it was gone already?

Basically, if you're at a value you get a 5/2 deal which means you pay for 5 days of room and tickets and you get 2 free including 2 days of tickets.

For resorts above value the deal is 4/3.

It's good starting Nov. 1. Christmas week is not valid from 12/24 to Jan. 2. Also, it's from Jan.3 to March 27.

Right now, only Visa Disney card holders can book. On Thursday this week it will open up to the general public.
