I knew about the lemonade that goes out at 1, and the cookies that come out at 3. Both are for guests' enjoyment in the check in room.

For me, this is my new experience. Today at the pool, we were offered small cups of strawberry smoothie!

It would be very hard to beat the courtesy and friendliness of these CMs!

Bobbi:thanks:

I've heard the HH CM's are among the best! We arrive Sunday for our first stay.....don't know what's taken us so long since we've been DVC members since 2001. Really looking forward to it...

I'm a little biased but I agree the CM's in HHI are the best!

I am glad you will be visiting this resort and experiencing it yourself! I am sorry we leave on Saturday, so we will miss you by a day!

We are already planning next year. Tom and I will stop here after F&G again, and my DSis and I will come with some DCuz in the summer!

Glad you are enjoying your stay, Bobbi. I have only stayed at HHI once and just loved it. Sadly there are no non-stop flights from MSP to the HHI area and connecting flights are just too hard for Bob, so I won't be able to go back. I also thought that the CMs there were especially accommodating. Have a safe trip home!

Direct flight are disappearing from Dayton. SW now only goes to Midway from there. We have rented a car from MCO for our drive home, so Hilton Head was sort of on our way home.

I am happy you and Bob still can enjoy direct flights to MCO!

We actually have one more stop, The Inn at Christmas Place!

We arrived at HH about 5 yesterday afternoon (Sunday). Loving it here! But, we also have a problem with nonstop flights coming from northeastern PA. Our optIons were our local airport (2 miles from home) to Savannah via 2 connections (12 hrs) at a cost of over $500 pp, PHL to Charleston on our favorite Southwest with 1 connection (either Midway or Atlanta), which would take a total of about 11 hrs including our 2 hrs drive and layover time or drive to Baltimore (3 hrs) to fly nonstop (1 1/2 hrs) to Charleston, also on SW, and then another drive (2 hrs) to HH! We chose option 3 because 6 1/2 hrs is better than a 15 hrs drive. We need to do same in reverse going home.

My DD and her 3 friends who just graduated college spent last week there and had a wonderful time, and they, too, commented on who wonderful the CMs were at the resort. The other girls all want to be vacation club members now too! lol

We have our fist stay coming up in September. We have spent one night there in a studio on our way to WDW before, but got there late and left early the next morning, so it doesn't really count. We are really looking forward to having a week to sleep in and do just about nothing, if we want and to explore the resort.
