that if the Disney rain ponchos you've purchased rip, you just exchange them for new ones at anyplace in any park that sells them! After having been on many WDW trips, I never knew that.

Universal does the same thing, they gave me a new one b/c one of the snaps was missing in my old one. Tip for those not too concerned with showing park allegiance ....... kids in a blue universal poncho show up better among the mass of yellow ponchos at disney and they are only $5 with the passholder discount. And they are not quite as long on toddlers.

How much are they to buy in the park?

I think they're only $5 or $6 at the most per poncho - but with 5 in our family it adds up. Ours kept ripping around the neck and we kept tieing them so we wouldn't get soaked. After one particularly rainy night and rain-soaked Splash Mtn ride we were standing in line at the store next to SM and this woman in front of me exchanged her ripped ponchos. I was shocked when the cast member told me that he'd replace all 5 old, ripped ponchos and then gave us 5 brand new clear ones.

we usually pick up a few from the dollar store before leaving home. got some today as a matter of fact, 2 for a dollar and they come in clear, blue or yellow.

Jvas, I guess those of us on the 7/4 Wonder think alike! I just purchased the same poncho's from our dollar store. Figured for $.50 I could toss them at the end of each day and start with a dry one the next day!

I have also noticed the wings on the large Tink balloons must not be very sturdy.
We have seen a lot of wingless Tink balloons.
One time a father took his daughter back for a replacement when the wings flew up.
