We have a few non park days while we are there in October. The girls in our group plan on doing some shopping at the outlets. The men in our lives... not so excited for that.

Any suggestions on some good man friendly things for the men to do while we all shop til we drop?

Tree Trek Adventure Park. It has 3 courses of zip lining. Ifly Orlando indoor skydiving. If they enjoy fishing there are numerous guides in the area that will take you out bass fishing. Some will even pick you up and drop back off at your hotel and provide all equipment, etc. We have done them all. Tree trek and the bass fishing were awesome and we have done those more than once.

Depends on what you like to do. I'm a car guy, so I'd go to K1 Speed, which is a go-kart track. Haven't done it (at least not the one near WDW) because we don't take days away from the parks when we're there, but if we did and I was by myself or with my boys, that's where we'd go.

It really depends on what they enjoy and what you would allow them to do. Plan the off day on a Sunday. You can go shopping and the guys could go to Miller Ale House for NFL. That's what I would do.

You can also rent a Sea-Doo at several locations just outside Orlando for a day of fun. There is also a spot that offers pull-line water-skiing/boogie board thing (it must have a name, but I have only witnessed it while driving by and watching). Indoor skydiving would be fun (I-drive). There are a couple of gun ranges along Irlo Bronson where they can get their Rambo on. Depending on season, there is MLB, NBA or NHL all within the area (although that is more often an evening thing).

There are a TON of things to do for them to do....My DH and DS(22) went on a helicopter ride. Then they went jetskiing and ended the evening off with drinks and wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. Plenty for the GUYS to do in Orlando!!!

Do you mind me asking how much the helicopter ride was? We keep seeing all kinds of billboards on Rt 192 advertising $20 or something for a ride, but wonder if it's an upsell thing...

I don't know and my husband can't recall the price either. They went to the one on 192. I am sure if you call or check their website it will give more detail. They enjoyed it!! However much it was, they felt it was worth it. I dont think it was more than $30 each but I could be wrong.
