:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

thanks for the alarm Jodie - That is the kind of stuff that I need to get Court out of bed :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

no napping on the couch - get your butt to bed!!!

Well - good morning to you Jodie.

Tracie - I have a bean who must be like Court. I will get him up at 6:40. He will come to kitchen and eat his breakfast (in a very grumpy mood). Then he moves to the couch (under blanket (janet its a STEELERS blanket)). He then will get up only at 6:50. If I yell to move - he says "Oh, no it's not 10 till yet." Then at 6:50 he gets his butt off the couch, gets dressed and goes to bathroom to brush teeth, wash face, etc.

Loverly mornings for us.;)

:) jennifer

;) our couch has one of those too:laughing: ; along with a gazillion afghans...think that's how they sell couches in our area! how's the # crunching going? my youngest never changed out of his jammies this weekend...did take showers, just jumped back into clean ones. Went outside & messed around in the snow, etc.:confused3

barb - i'd hang my kids up by their shorthairs if i did catch them boozin
slap.gif
...especially if they stole my stash. We always let them have a sip of whatever vino/champagne etc. on holidays to try & demystify it. Don't think either of the older 2 binge, etc. Seems to be acceptable practice with this generation that you have a designated driver or stumble home on foot:thumbsup2 . Good luck on the game tonight!

marci - congrats to your smrt kiddo:cheer2: !! which GPS did you pick up? I wanted to buy DH one for xmas, he said he didn't want one...i thinks it would be cool. as to the type you need for geocaching, do they work in a vehicle too?

jodie - ur sarcasm speaks to me:flower3:

kfed - i'm a realtor (currently, with license in escrow...i.e. goofing off;) ), good idea to hook up (not buyer agency though unless you want to be committed) with a newbie in the largest agency participating in the MLS in your area. They are hungry like the wolf & usually not busy elsewhere...will work their butt off to find u a home/give us access to interagency listings BEFORE they hit the multi-list. PS get a bonafide qualification (not a pre-approvable) to lay down on the table with offer once you are ready to buy...when all things are considered equal; will tip the scale in your favor.

boggity, boogity...tricia's hanging? jk glad i'm not dead last in the rankings

tracie - i shall now feel better drinking my brew knowing it's $3 cheaper than out east lol. I was going to keep on the bottles to add to beer can collection from years ago...but hesitated seemed juvie:guilty: ...def. going to add it to the wall of shame:laughing: now that i know i'm not alone

We have 3 phillies fleece and 2 eagles ones, plus a few random ones here and there :lmao: :lmao:

enjoy the shark - you HAVE too keep at least one bottle for the collection - we went to breakfast yesterday and on the way home bean #1 made us stop at 7-11, said she had to go in and get a surprise for Daddy.......came out with a can of Flaming Moe (tasted like Red Bull:lmao: ) so now I have to go get one and keep it UNOPENED for his Simpsons collection :rolleyes1

Janet - I thought he was referring to the wake-up call too!

As far as the GPS - it's one of the ones you use in the car. They got a Garmin - looking at the box it appears to be a 260w. :confused3 I don't know if you could use this kind for geocaching. It does have a biking mode and a pedestrian mode, but I think it's primarily for car use.

Jennifer - we seem to be on a similar timeline. Although my kids tend to get up sometime between 5:45 and 6, take showers, and then collapse back in bed until 6:30, when they actually get up and get stuff ready for school/breakfast, etc. Usually everyone's done about 6:45 and spend the next 15 minutes just sitting on the sofa staring at the walls or one another! Don't ask me, but it seems to work most of the time!

Hehehehe! :rotfl:

Thanks for "letting" me do the wake up call, Fletch! I never do it, unless I'm on midnights, unless it's REALLLY slow at work, unless the moon is in the seventh sign of Saturn, and unless it's almost Daylight Savings Time, and I have nothing to watch on TV. Because Court and I are probably related ....

she loves her sleep - and would do real well working a midnight shift.....she's a flippin' night owl :upsidedow weekends are fine because she doesn't HAVE to get up at the buttcrack of dawn.......during the week is a bit different though, especially since I don't want the school giving us trouble about taking them out for vacation - they need to be early to school - be good little students

Our mornings are pretty crazy here - I get up around 5:30 and throw in a load of laundry, make coffee, wake Kait up for the first time at 6-6:15, get online check email/DIS, wake Kait up for the second time at 6:30, she gets up and drags her butt to the bathroom to get ready......meanwhile Frank wakes up on his own by 6:45 and comes downstairs and wants to be fed. I make breakfast for him and start riling Court at 7, 715, 730, at 7:40 I take Kait to school, 7:45 keep on Court. Jim gets up at 8 and by then I am screaming for Court
8.gif
she gets up and starts stomping downstairs, eats and gets dressed. Jim is up showered and out the door by 8:20!! I take Court to school at 8:30, come home put laundry in the dryer, clean or whatever and have to take Frank to school at 12:15.

That's our schedule. Most mornings end with me like this

BUT there are some mornings that things flow and we get out EARLY (yes, even Court:laughing: )

we left MCO last summer the day they switched over the store to the quickie mart...ds had a cow:lmao:

 we old folks tend to get worked up easily:laughing:

they've got so many different GPSs out there, very confusing imo

know some u can download maps to keep them current, etc. figure i'll wait until "next" black friday & score.

Morning homies
Hope all is fine :goodvibes

Tequila makes a lot of people's clothes fall off. You and I won't ever argue about rum...I can't stand the stuff. Now Bourbon and Coke is a different story......... ;)

Kay. I'll take the rum. You can have the bourbon. No arguments there at all!

Uh.....what? :confused3

A restrictor plate is a metal plate with holes that is mounted on the engine and limits the amount of air that can flow into the engine. It lowers the horsepower of the engine, thus reducing the speed the car can travel.

Daytona and Talledega are restrictor plate races because the speeds at both those tracks were nearing the 200 mph mark.

As far as the large number of speeding penalties in Vegas, a lot of the drivers were complaining that the area leading into pit row was dusty and they were sliding and couldn't control the speed of their cars. :confused3

BTW, the post race inspection of Carl Edwards car looks questionable and he may get docked a few points.
