Just a quick stop by to say good night homies and this cold just wants to give me a good old fashion behind whippin cause now I have the head aches and sinus junk going on now so those that live where its cold stay warm and toasty and those that live where its warm stay cool .
hope to feel a little better to talk to you homies tomorrow and sweet dreams

Barb, my manager hired RIP #3 (he's not a Fat, Ugly, George Clooney, although I'm wondering if he knows he can't wear his baseball hat anymore once he takes his new job with our group :sad2:) because ... well, my boss is somewhat RIP too, and THEY'RE FRIENDS. :scared1:

And, if I have 35 years of service at this company, something will be seriously wrong ... I only plan on working here another 15 years, if I can manage it. Then, this pair of DINKs can retire at 50 with only part time jobs to keep us busy! 15 more years ... 15 more years .... 15 more years ......

Barb.....about your snow list.....the last time we had a bad ice storm, there was a problem with the city water and it had to be boiled.....you might want to have a case handy so you don't have to boil your drinking water....just in case.

Just wanted to check in before I pass out. I am absolutely beat. Great news though, we cleared $10,600!

Worried about mac too. Please check in and let us know you are okay.

Gonna hit the sack. Will catch up tomorrow if I get out of bed!

Anyhow...I expect you to be tanner than I Miss Alison....Enjoy...but be careful! Oh...and good luck with that electric bill :rolleyes1
Right now, I'm still tanning up town...we gotta get everyting hooked up. Hopefully, it won't take us too long to get the 220 line run and get the new parts installed. It will just be DH, my little sister, and me tanning, so I don't think it will be too bad on electricity.....surely it won't be as much as we were spending each month tanning......My $230 electric bill is the most that my electric bill ever runs and like I said earlier, we are ALL electric, so we don't get a gas bill.

And tell Tim I ain't smokin' anything
5.gif
....i was just wondering if there was another reason Lawrence wasn't ridin' DD :confused3
OK, he just thought we had lost it, cuz folks with back problems are supposed to stay off roller coasters.....I guess I forgot for the moment when I was saying he needed to ride.

uh-uh :sad2: Something else is up....just sickies won't keep her from us....AND Mr. Mac takes care of himself...remember?
Yeah, I remember MAC saying that Mr. Mac takes care of himself....but what about the boys?

Oh yeah...i'd get a couple gallons if they predicted the snow storm of the century....but, we never have problems out this way...also do the dreaded "refilling the water bottle" thing here :rolleyes1 so, we actually probably DO have a CASE when I add them all up! (just the quick grab n go on the run to karate, soccer, work, etc....)

Yeah...you pay one way or another for tanning....but, at least you OWN it now...better to spend your money on 'ownership' than 'renting' :thumbsup2 We don't have gas either and our electric bill is NOWHERE near that high? :confused3 Altho, we have to buy oil to heat us in the winter :headache: :headache:

:cool1: Woo Hoo - good for you. Sorry the worklife sucks. I have worked places where the "slackers" always seem to get away with stuff. And the good workers only get more work - cause the boss knows you will do it and do a good job with it.:confused3

I'm also looking at 15 years to retirement (although I will be older than 50).

:)

Metro - did you get one of those "blue-ray" DVDs? We saw a display at the store and they were great. Hubby just treated himself to the HD TV in November and we  watching it. He enjoys his ESPN and football in hi-def. (Although the Superbowl was on Fox and Fox did not broadcast in HD in our area.)

Mac - are you out there???? Check in.

Marcie - hope your trip was great and you and your son got some good skiing and mother/son time. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MATT AND ROYCE!!!!

Rose and Janet - sending you  and best wishes in dealing with your parents.

Well gang - I am off to work (again). Those tax returns are calling.

:) jennifer

Hey Jennifer...no...I didn't go that route. Since I don't have an HDTV, I decided to stick with the regular player. It was really a bargain. The one I got was a Sony 5-disc player from the Sony website for $79.95 which was refurbished...and I got the 2-year replacement warranty for $91.00 total. I've seen the same player online for $129.99 so I think it's a great deal.

Definitely not like her. I went over to her Test thread and she checked in there on Friday. She didn't check in anywhere yesterday that I can find. She's not answering my PMs or emails. Anybody hear anything about power outages in her area?

We bought one of those several years ago. . . still going strong. . . the only thing we have had to do is purchase and use a "clean disk". We love ours :thumbsup2

I put it off as long as I could, but I finally started Joshua on his new meds yesterday. I wasn't willing to leave it up to anyone else to start him on a new drug, so I couldn't do it when we were in Daytona. Last weekend was our flu bug weekend, so I didn't trust myself to get anything right then. I didn't want to start him on a new drug and then send him off to school, so I waited until this weekend.

The Topamax comes in capsule "sprinkles". You break open the capsule and mix the stuff inside with pudding or yogurt and then he eats it. If he could swallow a pill, it would be much easier... but we've tried that and he chokes/gags every time. We'll try again eventually.

Anyway, no reactions or side effects so far... and I've been watching him like a hawk. He is on a tiny dose at this point and will build to a stronger one. It will be weeks before I start taking him off Dilantin. He won't be on strictly Topamax until the second week of May. It is a long slow process, as these are the kind of meds that have to "build up" in the system and then be "weaned" out. So, we have to build the Topamax up first and then wean the Dilantin out.

What ever happened to the days where I'd toss him a Flintstones chewable vitamin and we were done???

Mornin'!

Lots for me to do today.... :headache: But, haveta check in.... don't want anyone to worry :rolleyes1

Well, THAT explains why you haven't been chatty this weekend... :scratchin Glad so far, so good :thumbsup2 Of course we don't expect it to be an easy thing to do, but it will go okay....You're a good Mom and you are SO on top of things. AND, as long as he doesn't have any seizures....we're good to go! Kids that age are more resilant than we give them credit for

And, the days of tossing a Flintstone at 'em....well, for Joshua they are over...but, keep chuckin' 'em at Daniel. :teeth:

Okay....now I gotta run errands, buy food, wash clothes.... :guilty:
