SLEEP NUMBER BED HERE !!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

They were early here at 7:50 this morning . I am just glad it is all done and in now . I can't wait to play with it tonight .:cloud9: You have to let it sit for 2 hours at its full setting (number100) to get the wrinkles out of the air chambers and let it settle to the enviornment it is placed in. :lmao:

Well Jennifer I feel your pain with your son. The thing with my DD is this is happening all of a sudden . I really haven't had these problems until the last few weeks. She has a friend who we have known for years that is really turning out to be a problem. I really like the family and have been friends with this kids mom since HS and my DH has known her father since they played Little league together . So it is kind of a weird situation . I have let her wear a little lip gloss and some mascara but she is over stepping her bounds the past few weeks .
I guess this was bound to happen since at 15 going on 16 our older daughter had no intrest in any of this at 12 . :)

I have to go to Target to get some curtain rods since they are like 15 bucks there and almost the same ones in Bed Bath and Beyond are like $40 . :scared1: That is a huge difference.

I am going to post the photos of the semi done room as soon as I get on our basement computer . I have no idea how to do it from DH lap top .:surfweb: :confused3 . I guess sooner or later I should learn .

Gotta go make the beds , do some :laundy: , and get out to Target today .
IT is FREEZING out here too something like 20 degress with a wind chill in the teens .

Teeth are feeling a little better today :thumbsup2 . Had to be the fact the dentist put his fingers in there and poked around to see what was going on . I just want it over and done with I hate the dentist and I know I am like this :scared1: when I have to go there .

I will take all the :wizard: I can get the next few weeks till the teeth are done.

Have a NICE DAY and see you all Later :yay:

Morning!

Chilly start to our day too. It was 25 when we got up this morning and the high is only supposed to be 45. At least the winds have died down. Yesterday was cold AND windy. It doesn't feel so bad today. They're calling for mid 60s by Saturday. :confused3

I have a headache and I'm crabby. You have been warned.

Good morning (is it?). It was a "balmy" 12 degrees when I got off work earlier.

I am ticked at myself for falling asleep on the couch when I got home from work. I have just been sooo tired on this tour, and Savvy had one of those rare cuddly moments. It's so rare for her to snuggle that I relished in it. It was too calming and led right to a nap, so I'm hoping I can get to sleep now.

It doesn't sound like there is much interest in March Madness, but when they make the announcement and the first brackets can be filled in, I'll see what I can come up with.

Is anyone going to see The Other Boleyn Girl this weekend? I am a total Tudor history buff, and although I didn't have a chance to read the book yet, I did read Phillipa Gregory's other book, The Boleyn Inheritance, which was great. I so loved that book. I need to get to the Library .. a good book before bed always helps me get restful sleep. I have a feeling I'll be going to see the Boleyn movie by myself. Mike won't go, although I really ought to call him on making me go see Freddy v. Jason and House of Wax and Unbreakable while they were in the theatre. He's not allowed to pick movies anymore....

Well, I'm going to try to go to bed. Stay warm and healthy, everyone.

I don't follow basketball, but if you will let me know the teams that are playing, I'll choose somebody. I like to play along! :)

And... I don't get to see grown up movies in the theater. Who am I kidding? I don't get to see grown up movies. Period. :lmao:

Barb, the girl laughing is my son's girlfriend.

Our "spot" at Margaritaville isn't in the bathroom. It is on the bottomside of the counters that run along the perimeter of the semi-outdoor area where you eat. It is right beside an elevated table near where the servers get the drinks from. It is totally diagonal to where you meet the greeter. Hopefully others can find it!!!

:woohoo:

Not at MIB.

But not telling where, either. :darth:

:headache:

Hello ...

Well still feeling crummy with my teeth  . I think when the Dentist went in to look around he poked into the area and well now it hurts . I am so not in the mood for this.

Got our bill for the bedroom and well hubby looks like this now :scared1:  . I guess he will feel better when the taxes come in and we can pay it all off. ;) BTW our taxes were suppose to be in on Tuesday and we were pushed off till the 11th of March  .

damo your picture of he PBH pool makes me wanna walk over there during our trip it looks pretty cool. We will be at the HRH . Your pictures are great and I really can't wait to go now . It is actually coming faster then I thought it would.

MY BED IS COMING  :yay: :woohoo: :dance3: It will arrive between 8 AM and 12PM Thursday . I am so ready for a good nights sleep :cloud9: . I sure do hope it all works out for me .:rotfl2:

I don't like rude KIDS they make me  . I actually am having a really big issue with my DD Katie who is 12 going on 13 and acting like 20. In the past few weeks we have taken her phone away for using it in school , punished her from seeing her friend because they went for a "walk" to the stores and never told us where they went . Then after all this I found pictures on my camera of her in the mirror the "my space" type of photo where they stand in the mirror to take a photo of themselves . :confused3 . Anyway I ask if she had a my space and well she LIED TO ME   . So now she has no computer I am at wits end with her . I never had these issues with my DD Chrissy the one who will be 16. Today was the last straw though DD katie tried to wear MAKEUP ..at 12 can you believe this . I am a little annoyed CAN YOU TELL?? Ok my Rant is over now thanks for listening ..:rotfl2:

So I am going to go clean up my mess from dinner and I hope to check in again later .

BTW Mac ... I am a little CRAZY  and :goofy: TOO .:lmao:

If I don't get back later

NIGHT NIGHT :cloud9:

So sorry the teeth are giving you such fits. And on top of that that the kiddo is giving you fits too. You are in desperate need of some :grouphug: :grouphug: !

Good morning (is it?). It was a "balmy" 12 degrees when I got off work earlier.

you need a new car with a remote starter for those kind of mornings

I didn't get a chance to post about this, but I am soooooooo in for this - we likes College Hoops around the bean household - we fill out brackets every year :thumbsup2

I am with Tricia - I rarely get to go the the movies anymore, but grab a good friend, or your sister, or whatever and GO!!!! FWIW the last 3 movies I saw was Cloverfield, Superbad, and Spiderman 3.

Well, I'm going to try to go to bed. Stay warm and healthy, everyone.

Sweet sleep and cye when you get up - I sent you the changes to our trip:thumbsup2

I would love to see your Disney pix....it's not just about "universal"...it's about ALL pix :goodvibes

610.582.2101 (altho, he is in and out a LOT, you might get ME if you call tomorrow :lmao: )

Yes. I think that is it. All around the perimeter there are bar stools. The counters are wooden and there are crayons that people use to write on it. When you go in, you are in the bottom right corner. Our spot is in the top left corner.

Here is a very bad picture of me in that room. Our spot is by my elbow.

DSC01920.jpg

Bad picture my rear. What are you 25? You look great!

And that was the exact table we sat at this summer!

Loved all the pics. Your son is a cutie! So is his girlfriend.

DH is working a TON of OT this week.... Monday he stayed 2 hours late. Tuesday, he went in early. Today he went in early AND stayed late (worked 6-6 :sad2: ) Thurs working 6-5 :sad2: Friday he can't stay late, but he'll go in early :guilty: Hope he doesn't get sick....too much and not enuf rest usually does that to him. Kinda funny little story here....I was working the multiplication flash cards w/ Bubba (in his room) tonite, and DH wanted to spend time with us, so he came in Bubba's room and layed on the bed. Wasn't too long before he started snorin' (whoopsie! :rolleyes1 ) Even with Bubba shoutin' out answers and such.....I can believe he's THAT tired to sleep thru it :rotfl2: So, right after Bubba went to sleep, DH went to bed too.....gettin' tired....think I'll join him!

Nite all.....'cya' tomorrow......

Poor guy. Hope he doesn't get sick again.

Good morning guys and girls :)

Got DS off to the park and ride lot at the butt crack of dawn this morning. :headache: DH was supposed to take him, or so I thought. Alarm clock goes off, 5 mintues later he's still snoring away. GRRR.

Most of the kids just brought backpacks for their clothes. But not my son, he brought a suitcase, 90 percent full of food! :rotfl: Guess he's worried they won't feed him!

Oh yeah, gotta love it when they go back to sleep when they are supposed to be taking the kids somewhere. Smart kid takin his own food!

-15 C here today (that's 5 degrees F). Brrrrr.

So glad we are off to SC tomorrow for two weeks!

:woohoo: :woohoo: For the trip that is, not the cold. :headache:

Just breezin' by for (what i am starting to believe, but don't know for sure is a COLD) MORNIN' to y'all :goodvibes

Ugh! I do not like the new dis boards. Anyone else with me on that one?

Our forecast is 60 - 70's through Sunday then back down to the 30's onow won't that be a pleasant baseball game?:headache: :headache: :headache:

It actually sounds like a wonderful little nap. Hopefully you will be able to go to sleep later.

It doesn't sound like there is much interest in March Madness, but when they make the announcement and the first brackets can be filled in, I'll see what I can come up with.

I will play. I do enjoy it, just wish it hadn't turned in to a sport that needs football pads. I swear sometimes it seems like it is rougher than football.

Hey I went to a movie with Ally last weekend. That is my quota for the next 6 months or so. I never get to go to adult movies. We just don't ever seem to have the time. I say you make Mike go with you. He owes you after taking you to those movies!

You stay warm & healthy too!

I don't follow basketball, but if you will let me know the teams that are playing, I'll choose somebody. I like to play along! :)

Ditto!

Quick flyby from work. -1 here this morning when I went out walking. DH apparently made it in from Detroit after his 10 days away, but went right to work. Conferences, soccer, and basketball finals (kids playing in band) tonight, so really hectic.

Having DS12 play hookey tomorrow to go skiing with me on our way out to Madison for the State MathCounts competition, so I won't be around much! Keep it down to a dull roar!

Okay I know I am not supposed to be here since I have so much to do but here I am any way.

I owe a story about bird poop I believe. It really isn't anything magnificent but here goes.

We were at the Magic Kingdom, had been there for a couple of hours already. Our next stop was to be Pirates of the Caribean. Somehow everyone got sidetracked, I don't remember by what. Anyway, I finally gave up. They were wandering off again, probably yet another smoke break. They come back my way finally and decide they are concerned about the stinkin stroller. Okay, you guys go & I will stay with it since I have already ridden earlier in the week. So in they go.

I take a stroll to the bathroom, and leave the stroller outside by the way (hee, hee). After the potty break I decide to find a seat outside of POC. There is a nice little bench sitting in front of El Pirata y el Perico. One end is in the sun, one in the shade. Of course I am going to go sit in the shade. I guess I was so busy being irritated by my family that I pay no attention to the ground around this end of the bench and have a seat. Well, said tree seems to be a landing/perch for many birds. Within a minute a bird lands right above my head and proceeds to poop in my hair. :sad2: It was disgusting. Once it happened I looked and all around me there was bird poop on the ground. :headache: I had to make another trip to the bathroom and wash as much out of my hair as possible. The family finally came back from seeing Captain Jack:cloud9: and I came back from cleaning bird poop out of my hair. Of course they all got a good laugh out of it!

So there is my terribly exciting bird poop story! Aren't you glad you just wasted your time reading that!

I could give many more stories about our trip but I got irritated with my family (the extended part) just sitting here re-living that day. I remember now why I didn't do a trippie!

Remember that I have a headache and I'm in a crabby mood? Yeah, not a good day for Tricia already, then Daniel decided to dump Joshua's treasure chest (full of plastic coins, marbles and bead necklaces) on the floor of Joshua's room. I'm trying to find all the little things when I hear, "Uh-oh" and see that Daniel has just snapped one of the bead necklaces and those freaky little suckers are rolling everywhere.

Are we sure that stapling Daniel's pants to the back deck isn't an option?

I finally get it all picked up (I hope) and I sit down here to relax for a few minutes. Then I make the mistake of scrolling through the CB, only to find YET ANOTHER "how old is too old to have a baby" thread.

Ugh.

I'm 41. I had my boys when I was 35 and 39. I don't think that makes me a medical miracle or a freak. The constant "it isn't fair to the child to have a parent that will have health issues and die when they are young" stuff gets to me.

Should obese people not have kids? They are more likely to have health issues and die younger.

Should smokers not have kids? They are more likely to have health issues and die younger.

Should low income people not have kids? They are more likely to have health issues and die younger.

Should people with known disabilities and diseases not have kids?

I could go on, but I won't.

I didn't meet Brad until I was almost 31. We went through a normalish courtship and engagement and got married when I was 33. He is almost 10 years older than I am. I didn't go looking for an older man, but that's what I got. Why is that a bad thing? Should we not have our two wonderful boys because we didn't meet when we were younger? Am I some selfish idiot that didn't put the needs of my (imaginary for the sake of argument) child first?

Puh-leez.

Okay, I'll climb down off my soap box. Sigh.

Thats awful cause the same thing happened to me at Epcot in 2005 and father-in-law got a kick out of it and thought he was going to fall over  but pay back came later when bird pooped on him but he got it worse :lmao:

don't worry...one of us will find you :cool2:
