Here's the rule in our house when purchasing such merchandise. . . buy Chase Authentics. . . it's owned by drivers and the quality is always top notch. Also, must have graphics on both sides, like your pic.

DH has managed to find several new #88 tshirts, has acquired 2 new jackets and has his eye on #88 earrings.

I know you won't believe this, but I swear (honestly!) we finally taught DS14 last summer, so he knew how before he entered high school!

I quite like the Pirates and Princess party. My son's girlfriend is a big Disney nut and has never, ever been to Disney. The Pirates and Princes should be a lot of fun with her.

That sux you got stuck with the bill for the beach house...but, yeah...ALL that room! Mom is paying her own way....paying for her cruise, airfare, meals, hotel when we visit my FIL (be a full house for the weekend) AND she is paying the difference in the hotel cost (like, if it were the 3 of us, we'd be staying at RPR most likely....for the extra room, staying at PBH, so she is paying the difference in price...appx. $80/nite) Expensive enuf for the 3 of us....can't afford to 'foot' her bill too ...besides, she's on limited income, was hoping she'd bail due to lack of funds..... don't think it'll happen tho

Okay...we 'get' you love your computer....and why.....BUT, do you love your friends in it??

Barb, last year it was daughter and boyfriend (and my sister) who came with me to the P&P party. This year is is son and girlfriend and then daughter (by herself since boyfriend is running low on funds). My son and his girlfriend did come down with me also when we just went to Universal.

Afternoon homies! Here are some news items:

Good news: My new Aeron chair came and it's great!

Bad news: I'm home from work today since I had a tooth pulled yesterday. It hurt all night and my jaw is still swollen but it's doing better.

No news: The guy from the SPCA and I keep playing phone tag. Apparently you have to answer when he calls since it's a one and done thing with him.

BTW...Happy Valentine's Day!

21 guys are getting laid off today at work. They have cops here in case they go postal. Nothing says Happy Valentine's Day like "Honey, I lost my job."

So, I was trying to get a shower this afternoon. I didn't take one this morning because I knew I was going to be cleaning the bathrooms, etc and I wanted to wait until all that was done. I don't want to smell like toilet bowl cleaner when I go to bed tonight.

Anyway, I set the boys up watching the new Garfield movie and I headed into the bathroom. I was in the shower, hair wet and lathered, when the first knock sounded on the door.

Actually...I already have all that stuff. I went out two weeks ago and bought everything at Walmart with the expectation of getting a dog at the SPCA the next day. But...the dog I saw online and thought I wanted was way too big so I waited.

If this doesn't work out with them, I'll donate everything to a rescue group.

He was silent the rest of the way home; she has declined to join us on any lengthy journey since.

hmm...daytona in 8 hrs for tricia ; believe her hubby likes taking "shortcuts" as i'm guilty of-the type that look good on paper-only...hope not

wendy - ok, think i scored a 50% ; don't think DS will know the difference; racing isn't real big around my area...except for neighbor who has 3 flags hanging from the front porch....all from the same bracket in varying heights:

#1) Dale the Intimidator - which is hung the highest, then 1/2 staff it's

#2) Dale jr (guess he needs a new flag lol)

#3) American flag is hung underneath the 2

keeps all 3 illuminated though @ night

also has his truck, suv, and his fleet of work trucks plastered with enough stickers that it's tuff to determine their color.

Yep....I will officially be a member of the "3-way" club Bubba is okay with Ma coming along....he's never been on a trip with her, so I think he's okay with it..... me and DH...not so much! .....I think I have all the arrangements so that Mom and Bubba each have their own "space"... Can't believe i ketchuped I feel like a truck ran me over....worse today, DH better today (but not great) and Bubba...well, all is right in Bubba-world He's fine, I'm not. I'm actually getting worse as the day/nite goes on.... Going to sleep and we are sleeping in tomorrow...keep the 'wake up' call down pleez? No skool tomorrow or Monday...taking advantage of sleeping in! Worked 9-4 today...opened the joint by myself It was the first day the owners weren't there to open....all was well...quiet day. Grabbed cheezburger from McD's for the boy and DH and I had Applebee's to Go for dinner I ain't "cooked" all week

So, now I'm extremely tired and can't stop coughing.....going to try and relax and get some sleep.....maybe tomorrow be a better day?

Oh, and Damo, your guy(s) not making it to the race doesn't really mean they stink. It is very hard (read: nearly impossible) for a rookie to run in the Daytona 500. Remember when I said there were other factors involved in who makes the race? Yeah. It has to do with carryover points from the previous season and stuff like that. Your guy(s) were what are called "go or go home" drivers. They had to make it in strictly based on their time and they didn't make the cut.

That probably didn't help.

I'm going to bed now. Night y'all. If I don't see you tomorrow, I'll see you Tuesday night/Wednesday morning!

the season runs feb to mid november.

races are sunday's with a few sat nights thrown in, we can post official results next days. drivers get points for various things like leading laps and so on, any we can see each week how each picked driver does.

so, if you wanna change, do so now. Yes, you can have the same as someone else.
